Barotseland Prime Minister, Clement Sinyinda Arrested
A source familiar with the development claims a warn and caution statement has since been recorded from the Ngambela on treason related charges.
He has however, been released but will have to report tomorrow, Friday, 10 hours at Mongu Central Police Station.
The Ngambela had vowed to draw blood on the issue of breaking away from Zambia and had solicited for international support to facilitate the secession of the area from Zambia.
On Tuesday the BNC resolved to nullify the Barotse Land agreement of 1964 while it has since been resolved that Barotseland breaks away from Zambia.

We told PF that RB was right in the way he dealt with the Lozi hard liners who apparently , prior to their arrests and perceived mistreatment,were warming up for a genocide. Intelligency information showed that they had amassed all sorts of weapons so that they could kill who ever may have been in their way including fellow Lozis. So in the face of this information, RB chose to deal with them the best way… Need to say more, the need by our Lozi brothers to secceed is just there to test the leaders who fought the One Zambia One slogan that KK coined in order to fully integrate this Nation which apparently had desjointed aspirations.

As long as we have disgruntled people who feel the rest of the Country has left them behind, they will continue grumbling. The best treatment is to find out what they intend to do with the various Lozi that have intermarried and are settled in other parts of the Country. Respect for the slogan of “one Zambia one Nation” has to be upheld if the Nation is to remain the best democratic and peaceful Nation as it is well known around the World. The best way to deal with the issue is to nip it in the bud by declaring that anyone meeting to discuss separation will be guilty of treason.
