Mulongoti Says ‘MMD Is In A Crisis’
Former works and supply minister Mike Mulongoti has charged that the MMD is in a crisis.
Mr. Mulongoti says that the MMD’s failure to raise funds for the MMD convention is a clear indication that there are in a crisis.
He says that the MMD should ensure that there find other means of raising money to hold its convention.
He has noted that it will not be a bad idea for the party to handpick a caretaker leader for the benefit of the former party.
He has noted that people that might have been willing to sponsor the party have gone into hiding for fear of being associated with a corruption tagged party.

Ba Mulongoti you are slowly drifting to the wrong side of history. Great leaders find something to believe in and support it to end. Its very very easy to critise as can attested to by our own current Head of state and thats what the whole of you has decided to do?. MMD is in a crisis but so is PF. what MMD needs is leadership.Pls take a deep breath no one will respect you for the position you have taken.

first of all @ chewe, why are you mentioning HH when this story doesnot involve him, leave this very succesful economist alone and concentrate on that dull empty tin called micheal satan. now getting to this story, i find it very annoying when former MMD members start criticizing a party which they were part of for so long. if MMD is disorganised and corrupt then the people who made it that way are people like mulongoti, micheal satan, …….etc

Mulongoti, Rupiah Banda, George Kunda et al. are criminals cut from the same mmd cloth. They may differ with each other but they remain deceitful and unworthy of public trust.

MMD begun as a good party just as most Pipo are seing PF 2day but due 2 selfishness they started robbing Orphans,widows,disabled,aged among others and God was anoyed and taught them a Lesson.Same would happen to PF if they have no regard for Poor Zambians.If MMD is not careful they will never recover UNIP will be even better than them (MMD).

I wonder Ukwa ‘Sicho Mata’ has turned into an angel. It’s just that F.T.J. did not pick him for presidency after the failed third term and out of frustration formed PF.Therefore,if MMD is in crisis then PF,the reformed MMD is not far from crisis too.Remember,the apple does not fall far from the tree.

You are the only person who does not know that all PF leaders were elected at the convention in Kabwe attended by foreign observers and the first president of Zambia. Please we know you are hurting but please leadership was given to SATA by God and you shud know that if you had your way own way and not God someone else or a tribesman could have been in State House. Mr Mulongoti, I wish you would just shut up. You had your own selfish interests when you were in MMD, when they failed to materialise you became bitter and are still very bitter. Deep down you wish you could contest the MMD presidency. Shame on you, just enjoy what you accumulated while you dined and danced together with all your buddies in the good old days of MMD. The real crisis is in your head not in MMD.
