Bishop John Mambo has described the recent unanimous support of the Anti-Corruption Commission bill of 2012 by Members of Parliament as a victory for the Zambian people.
Bishop Mambo says the Members of Parliament should be commended for taking a bold decision in strengthening the fight against corruption.
He says it is important that lawmakers represent the people who elected them in an effective way as they did on the ACC Bill.
Bishop Mambo in an interview with QFM radio notes that if such progressive decisions are made,Zambia will achieve higher development levels.
He says corruption has been a hindrance to Zambia’s development efforts.
Bishop Mambo has expressed confidence that the anti corruption is back on track with the ACC Bill of 2012 which among other things seeks to reinstate the abuse of authority of office clause.
