Hakainde Hichilema’s Body Guards Assault, Beat Up Journalist

Opposition United Party for National Development UPND president Hakainde Hichilema’s body guard this morning harassed and assaulted joy fm staffer Hector Simfukwe at the Zambia Congress Of Trade Union Offices.
MMD spokesperson Dora Siliya had invited Simfukwe through an SMS to cover opposition political parties for an unknown function at ZCTU. Simfukwe arrived at ZCTU at 10 hours and was confronted by an unknown bodyguard of the UPND leader and denied him access to ZCTU secretary general, Roy Mwaba’s office where the meeting took place.
Simfukwe was only rescued by alert ZCTU office guards after a long tussle and severe fist by the unknown bodyguard. Meanwhile, joy fm management says it will take legal action against the UPND and their bodyguard.
JOY FM station manager Zachariah Banda says the radio station is disappointed with the action from one of the UPND members. He says joy fm has allowed Simfukwe to launch his complaint with the police so that the full law can take its course. Mr. Banda says it is hypocritical for the opposition who accuse the PF government of violence to perpetrate the vice themselves.

The guard made a mistake no wonder HH has written an apology to Hector.Hector is a professional guy.During the election the guy WAS doing live cross overs for PF , MMD AND UPND in a very professional manners.
