Sata’s Kneeling Should Be Followed By Development- Father Bwalya.

Fr Bwalya

Get Involved Zambia executive director Father Frank Bwalya says President Michael Sata’s gesture to kneel before the Copperbelt residents for voting for him in the 2011 elections should be followed by delivering development to the area.

Father Bwalya says it is encouraging to note that the President appreciates the residents of the copperbelt for the support they rendered to him in order to assume the presidency.

He says the people of the copperbelt welcome such a gesture from the head of State.

Fr Bwalya it is also encouraging to note that leaders holding such high office are able to swallow their pride to thank voters for contributing to their electoral victory.

He says what is remaining is for the residents to start experiencing the fruits of development from the Patriotic Front leadership.

Fr Bwalya was speaking to QFM news in an interview

You can kneel down, but it does not mean that the HEART is also kneeling. Someone can easily pretend, while the heart is somewwhere else. Do not be decieved by someone’s body stance. Remember GOD looks at the HEART.

How do you say thank you to someone who is jobless and hungry? In psychology, the thank you did not come at the right time. From september 2011 and you say thank you in June 2012. No meaning. Too late. There must be immediate thanking. Go back and bring jobs. Ndola stadium was built by MMD and Levy.

The kneeling of President Sata indeed leaves a lot to be desired in that it was going to be of great significance had it come much earlier and his program being specifically coming to the c/belt to say “thank you”, not where it is seen as a by the way issue when in essence he had come to officiate at the grand opening of a stadium.
It also goes to say his percieved thank you gesture will be of no meaning if his campaign promises are not fulfilled most especially in the provision of jobs to help curb the ever rising unemployment & poverty levels in our country.

I remember last year, a statement like this from Fr Bwalya would have triggered nasty reactions from Rev Gen Shikas and Dora. Maybe Shamenda is timmid, OR he is acting professional by letting people express themselves freely.

if anyone thinks that kneeling does’nt mean anthing, then people should at all stop kneeling.if one have to know what one thinks in his/her heart before accepting that kneeling, then really we should not think that kneeling mean anything to mankind.critisize ressiponsibly

How can you expect a president who won through deceipt to bring development? He is still developing himself and his clan. This is the problem with all greedy but poor men with only 9 guns and nothing else. 8 months and zero results, soon it will be 5 years and no results and he will come kneel down to beg new votes for a fresh mandate. Watch out if u need development on the copperbelt, next time vote wisely. Sob…

Fr Bwalya. Stop talking cheaply. Everyone will have to contribute to development, creation of jobs by change of mind set. The govt will provide the appropraite policy direction by encouraging reduction of lending rates, liberalising the economy etc. Govt will not use tax payers money to create companies. wake up Father.

@NANA, if according to your infinite wisdom you ve already discoverd that certain tribes e.g Tongas ‘will never rule Zambia’ then why do those political parties ‘owned’ by those tribes ‘fit enough’ to rule Zambia go to Tongas & other ‘unfit’ tribes asking for votes? You shout ‘one zambia one nation’ while on the other hand you are busy promoting tribalism. Two faced tool!
