Mundia Sikatana DIES

Former agriculture minister Mundia Sikatana has died. He died at the University Teaching Hospital after a long illness battle. He was minister of agriculture in the Mwanawasa adminstration.

    chabipa…its sad, but i think he has lived his years…he looked older than 70 years, and we thank God for his life and contribution to the country.

    he will be missed, andi hope hes gone to a better place…..

    he was a true servent of the people of zambia during his time as minister of agri.we saw massive change in the food security as aspect only when he was in office.bumper harvest new him by name because he new that everything is possible and thats what he did.

    Most of you only remember his contributions to the Agriculture ministry, he was also foreign affairs minister and introduced career diplomats by recruiting young men and women from Finance and commerce ministries to start their careers in the foreign missions. Unfortunately these are the people being replaced by PF caders today. RIP counsel.
