, as fans wants the whole FA Board dissolved
SUDANESE fans have called for the immediate resignation of the entire national executive committee for using a suspended player in the World Cup qualifier against Zambia, an act that could cost them three points.
And FIFA have referred the case in which Sudan used Saif Ali during their 2-0 win over Zambia to the world soccer governing body’s disciplinary committee.
A Sudanese soccer expert who spoke on condition of anonymity said in an interview from Khartoum yesterday that the Sudanese FA has let down the country.
“We know the Zambian FA will appeal to FIFA and it is not a secret that we will lose. The three points we got when we beat Zambia will go to Zambia. I do not think we will recover with four games remaining,” he said.
He described the decision to use Ali as silly.
“Why use a player who is suspended? We have so many players who can play for the national team,” he said.
Ali scored Sudan’s second goal in the match played on June 2 at Al Hilal Stadium in Khartoum.
Meanwhile, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) says FIFA has forwarded the matter to the FIFA disciplinary committee.
“FIFA’s response to FAZ comes in the wake of the ended week’s correspondence between Football House and FIFA House,” FAZ communications manager Erick Mwanza said.
Mwanza said in Lusaka yesterday that FAZ requested FIFA to review the match between Sudan and Zambia with specific reference to Ali.
He urged the nation to be patient and not ‘count the chicks before they hatch’.
“Once again, once the FIFA process is completed and the outcome communicated to us, we shall inform the nation accordingly,” Mwanza said.
Ali was red-carded in the 0-3 loss to Zambia in the quarter-finals at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Bata, Equatorial Guinea.

@Ndate, I think I ready something different, (the rules if u like)says that the offender is stripped off the three points and given to the other including three goals, meaning we will not only be given points but three goals as well.

The big question therefore, is whether a team (Sudan) can be considered to have lost a match without a corresponding win recorded by the other team (Zambia).

FIFA DISCIPLINARY CODE( updated 2012) : Article 69 talks about the Ineligibility. It simply states
1. If a player takes part in an official match despite being ineligible, his team will be sanctioned by forfeiting the match (cf. art. 31) and paying
a minimum fine of CHF 6,000.
AND Article 31 talks about Forfeiture. It says
1. Teams sanctioned with a forfeit are considered to have lost the match by 0-3.
2. If the goal difference is greater, the higher score is upheld.

Mwebanensu who’ve read the rules, what do they say about time-frame within which to appeal? Did FAZ act within the required time?
angelgabriel
June 18, 2012 at 8:11 pm
@Nandibo,there are 3 scenarios regarding time frame:
1. You can protest before the game if the environment is not conducieve for you
2. You can protest after the game if something happened during play. Here a protest must go as written within 72 hours
3. You can protect more than 48hours if a technical issue needs clarification which is our case. In this case, even without a protest, once fifa realises an anomally action is taken.

Zondwe Chimbwi Ukwa No Plan walks into a Dr Desai’s practice in Mumbai India and asks to be castrated. Dr Desai says that he doesn’t usually castrate people, so Ukwa No Plan offers $5,000 if Dr Desain will castrate him. Dr Desai puts Chimbwi Ukwa No Plan to sleep, & when Ukwa No Plan wakes up Dr Desai says, “while I was castrating you I noticed that you had never been circumsized, so I circumsized you, too.” Chimbi Ukwa No Plan says, “circumsized! That’s the word!”

Ukwa was a successful politician, but as he got older he was increasingly hampered by incredible verbal diarrhea. When his career and love life started to suffer, he sought medical. After being referred from one specialist to another, he finally came across an old Indian doctor who solved the problem. “The good news is I can cure your headaches… the bad news is that it will require castration.” You have a very rare condition which causes your testicles to press up against the base of your spine and the pressure creates one hell of a verbal diarrhea.

The only way to relieve the pressure is to remove the testicles.” Ukwa was shocked and depressed. He wondered if he had anything to live for. He couldn’t concentrate long enough to answer, but decided he had no choice but to go under the knife. When he left the hospital he was without verbal diarrhea for the first time in 50 years, but he felt like he was missing an important part of himself. As he walked down the Mumbai street in India, he realized that he felt like a different person. He could make a new beginning and live a new life. He saw a men’s clothing store and thought, “that’s what I need .. a new suit.” He entered the shop and told Mr Patel, “I’d like a new suit.”

The elderly Patel eyed Ukwa briefly and said, “Let’s see… size 42 long.” Ukwa laughed, “That’s right, how did you know?” “Been in business 60 years!” Ukwa tried on the suit. It fit perfectly. As Ukwa admired himself in the mirror, Mr Patel asked, “how about a new shirt?” Ukwa thought for a moment and then said “sure…” Mr Patel eyed Ukwa & said “let’s see…34 sleeves &…16 & a half neck.”Ukwa was surprised, “that’s right, how did you know?” “Been in the business 60 years” Ukwa tried the shirt, & it fit perfectly. As Ukwa adjusted the collar in the mirror, Mr Patel asked “how about some new shoes?” Ukwa was on a roll and said “sure!”. Mr Patel eyed Ukwa’s feet and said “Let’s see… 10-1/2…E.” Ukwa said astonished, “that’s right, how did you know?” “Been in business 60 years!” Ukwa tried on the shoes & they fit perfectly. Ukwa walked comfortably around the shop & Mr Patel asked “how about some new underwear?” Ukwa No Plan thought for a second & said, “sure!” Ptel stepped back, eyed Ukwa No Plan’s waist & said “Let’s see… size 36.” Chimbwi Ukwa No Plan laughed, “Ah ha! I got you I’ve worn a size 34 since I was 18 years old.” “Patel shook his head, “you can’t wear a size 34, it will press your testicles up against the base of your spine & give you one hell of motormouth.” By the time Chimbwi Ukwa No Plan zeroed in on Dr Desai’s practice, his items were ash in the incinerator.
