NAREP Tells Off UPND And Other Opposition Parties “Criticize In A ‘Respectable’ Manner”
The National Restoration Party (NAREP) has advised its fellow opposition political parties in the country to provide the necessary checks and balances to the government in a more respectable manner.
NAREP spokesperson Mbita Sumbwe says it is normal for political parties to defend or disagree on issues but states that it should always be done in a more respectful manner.
Mr. Sumbwe notes that if political leaders express themselves in a disrespectful manner, it will be hard for them to command respect and provide the necessary checks and balances as they will be treated in a similar way.
Speaking to QFM, Sumbwe says being polite does not mean being timid because views can be expressed politely but forcefully.

I believe this NAREP (na lepu) speaker also includes ba PF in being respectiful. I have a bone to pick with any & every leader that insults others. Everyone has to tone down, otherwise we shall digress into a nation of ifisushi fyabantu without reasoning but trading insults. That, will be sad!!!

ba zebron chivunga do not be so bitter, you need to learn how to make alliances if you have to contribute positively to the nation. No tribe in zambia can win an election on its own. God was wise to bless us with so many tribes in Zambia. ba Late LPM won the elections because he was in alliance with so many tribes in zambia. but if you under 5 thinks he can win from southern province alone without involving other tribes in all the provinces, he is doomed and he will end up a very bitter man!!!

@Luma Monga; Your reasoning is very shallow. There is nothing HH can do to gain the Bemba vote because Bembas hate Tongas & naturally so. Besides Tongas having voted for Chiluba, Bembas are not willing to reciprocate. HH is restricted to Southern Province not through his own liking. Bembas are haters by nature. Mwanawasa won because he was riding on the back of Chiluba who is from the Bemba speaking group. Mazoka got the worst votes from Bemba provinces & this was a guy who went to school in Kasama. It’s amusing that some bembas want to claim that they supported Mazoka. What pathological liars! The records are there at ECZ for everyone to see. Mazoka won everywhere else except Bemba regions. Today you chaps want to demand for respect!! Which upright person can respect a person who he feels is just an asshole & only got into power because his asshole relatives are the majority.

Constructive criticism and insulting are not the same thing. Some of us refuse to insult back even when we are insulted. Why? Because we refuse to sink to the same unreasonable level with the vulgar. Being vulgar implies that reason has failed and now it gets emotional, without context with the subject matter. That is not leadership. Just because Hitler killed some jews does not justify anyone repeating the same. Lets think progressive. HH, grow up or else you won’t be considered mature enough to get the majority vote. Vulgar bloggers, grow up or else we won’t reach the consensus we need to work together for a meaningful collective destination.

Why invite people you know will not accept? The president should not invite frustrated people whose agenda no one knows. Let them continue dreaming, because even in 2016 no one will give them a vote. It seems to be an oral fight between Bembas and Tongas! It is a great torture to children born between Tongas and Bembas (TongaBembas). The reality in our work places is that where there are three people ( a Tonga, a Lozi/Tonga and Temba) and you give an apple to a Tonga, he will ONLY either share the apple with a Lozi/Tonga or just eat it alone but if you give it to a Bemba, all the three will have a share! Are you a Bemba or a Tonga stop the nonsense please stop this oral fight before it is misinterpreted!
