Mweene Honours Kitwe United Roots

First choice Chipolopolo goalie Kennedy Mweene has donated kit worth K4 million to his former club Kitwe United.

Mweene

Mweene, who is in the country on off-season break, said the donation was a way of saying thank you to his former club.

The Free State Stars skipper made the presentation at the Kitwe Civic Centre open grounds.

Mweene had a stint at the now Division One outfit where his between the posts heroics endeared him to the ‘Chingalika’ faithful after being spotted from the defunct Lusaka Celtic which he joined from State House Police FC.

More blessings mwaice wandi, but join me in visiting some schools to identify those bright children who are very serious with their education but have very poor or no financial support at all, and then adopt them as your sponsor for the bare minimum possible. Folks K1million per year is very good sponsorship for a promising primary or secondary school pupil. I really wonder how many potential technicians, engineers, doctors, accountants, teachers, economists, lawyers drop out of school prematurely in our country, due to lack of sponsorship. Now compare this K1million per year per learner with your annual MOSI, WHISKY, AMARULA, HUNTERS or TUJILIJILI budget!!
