OYV Says UPND And Other Opposition Political Parties Are A Big Problem
The Operation Young Vote (OYV) has observed that the tendency of opposition political parties opposing to any pronouncement by government is growing into a big problem.
Organization Executive Director Guess Nyirenda says it is time political parties in the country reflected on their relevance for an improvement in the country’s economy.
Mr. Nyirenda says it is sad and unfortunate that the opposition in the country has just opted to oppose any pronouncement by government, even things done in national interest to benefit the general public.
He says it should be clear to every political party, whether in opposition or ruling, that political parties exist so that they can better living standards for citizens.
Mr. Nyirenda notes that it will be very unfortunate if every pronouncement by the government is opposed because the country will not advance in any of its economic sectors.

The observations are true because some Opposition Political Parties have lost direction.People like HH are bitter because they lost last year’s elections.He needs to do more in order for him to win the presidency.MMD are are bitter because they lost elections and control of Government after spending millions of money in campaigns while Charles Milupi is following others blindly.
People of Zambia know where their anger is coming from.

Guess Nyirenda is just exposing his foolishness, opposing is as good as attacking – perimetres for attacking are wider than defending.
For example if president Sata makes a foolish decision to take chipimo and Nawakwi to brazil on tax payer’s money, we should debate that this is wise decision or we must first consult and find out the most polite way to say it a foolish decision!

Can’t we just civilise and develop our politics to a level where as a PF or MMD cadre you can have a best friend who is UPND without being despised by your own party? Your party affliation should only be about your principles of governance and service delivery, and about who you like or hate!
