SATA: “It Is Entirely Upto Tonga’s To See Development In Their Area”
Republican president Michael Sata says it is entirely up to the people of southern province to ensure that development reaches the area.
President Sata says the people of southern province have no one but themselves to blame for the under development in the province because they have been making wrong choices in choosing parliamentarians.
Speaking at a public rally at Livingstone’s Villa grounds to drum up support for PF Livingstone candidate Joseph Akafumba yesterday, Mr. Sata said the people of southern province need to liberate themselves by voting for a candidate in the ruling party.

The president who was supported by senior Chief Mukuni and other senior government and party officials says it is time to concentrate on the developmental agenda.
Speaking earlier, senior Chief Mukuni of the Toka-leya people called for the need to develop infrastructure in order for Livingstone to fully have a meaning of a tourist town.
Meanwhile, southern province minister Obvious Mwaliteta says the opposition united party for national development should not think as though they have title deeds to southern province.
Mr. Mwaliteta says the opposition should just accept that tangible development can only come through the government.
And tourism minister Given Lubinda, who is also Kabwata Patriotic Front Member of Parliament, says it is very sad that the upnd turned into a violent party ever since Hakainde Hichilema took over after the death of founder, Anderson Mazoka.

I am sure some known cliques will condemn this too. Surely, we cannot change all zambians to support us and develop the province. But certainly, we can change ourselves to pick the right path to development. Opposing everything and refusing to work with governments all the time will take Southern province no where. The blame is entirely ours.

Very sad indeed. Cheap politiking. Why can’t Zambians read through Sata? Isn’t he the same man who promised us heaven in the election against Banda? Money in pockets, New Constitution, jobs, fight against corruption, etc. The lozi’s got a good dose of his lies with the ‘restoration’ of the Barotseland Agreement. Now he even asks his ministers to bow before voters in Livingston. This must actually annoy the voters in Livingston. If he was at least serious, he should have disciplined his great minister and nephew Sampa who insulted the people of Southern Province. It is Sata and his cheap tricks again. Please do not vote for PF. You will be ditched – ask your bululus in Mongu. Sata must show more seriousness. Zambia is not for a ride.

It’s very true that despite being younger, HH has turned the late Mazoka’s party into a tribalistic one when Anderson himself did in fact not mean it to be that way. What a shame!

Insults will never give you development you fellows ! from time imemorial you have been tribal,you must rise above tribal politics , otherwise you must accept the inevitable,i.e haterade and insulting leaders on tribal lines will never take you anywhere !Kaunda created an environment for inter marriages why do our friends from Southern sound so heated up with tribal fights ? Only idiots like wanu Ngwee cannot see that Sata is the one who has always thrived through tribalism. One of the reasons why FTJ didnt want him anywhere near the corridors of State House was because of his genetically embeded tribalism. Any normal Zambia knows that Sata eats, breathes, baths ,dreams, talks tribalism going back to his UNIP days.HH might be tribe inclined in his own way but Sata is the godfather of tribalism in Zambia.I miss FTJ the President of all Zambians.That’s why he got more votes from Southern Province than ant other winning Presidential candidate.

It’s really shameful that the entire president can sink so low as to impose his preference on people who are not his children but employers. What cheek!!!! Sata won elections, but did not beat a combined oppostion vote, so PF cadres stop imposing your will on every Zambian. The people are waiting for your campaign promises, only when you deliver, will some of us take you seriously!!! For now let the will of the voters prevail in L/ stone, Chama and Muchinga constituencies.

Sometimes I see idiocy in some people. Can Bembas in Kasama vote for HH? This tribal superiority complex is not good in a country with many tribes. Bembas soon will be hated by many tribes because of superiority complex.
Imagine one chief Chimbaka on Mobi said he will only criticise PF when he dies. Nkaya mwandi. Sometimes I try to ignore these setiments but it is too much mwandi. We are going back to ONE PARTY SYSTEM.

Just for urgument sake would you say Southern province is less developed than the other provices in zambia. We thought actually sourthen comes in at number 3 after copperbelt and lusaka. devepment if looked at household level..we thought tongas in sourthen province have wealth compared to other provinces in the villages..anyone with figures from central satatics.I have a feeling the president may not actually know that southern province is richer by far than other provinces.

Which area has the pf developed in the past 9 months? Let them show the people of l/stone. Forcing a bunch of unwilling ministers to kneel down, begging for a l/stone vote is not enough. Its actually a mockery to the zambians. A responsible democratic govt takes development to all the parts of the nation regardless of which party is strong in a particular area.

The pf govt sees nothing wrong in sending cabinet ministers to camp in l/stone to campaign for akafumba? Rumor has it over zmk 4 billion tax payers money has been used by these cadre ministers on partisan duties. Unza is closed and govt is mute…now I understand why the president(then minister without portfolio) once said “zambia is not in a hurry to produce graduates coz there no jobs and we have a lot of them even doctors on the streets”. He said this when he was championing ftj’s 3rd term bid. This is still fresh in my mind.

How many contituencies,Districts and provinces have PF Mps and yet there hasnever been the so called ‘Developmnt’? Mps are controlled by other senior officers and organs of the party and its Govt. So if the Govt is incapable of fulfiling promses belabepesha imitundu.
