CRUEL! Congolese Burn Zambian Alive For Bashin 2 Of Their Own
A ZAMBIAN truck driver has been burnt to death in Congo DR, forcing a border shutdown at Kasumbalesa.
The driver, who has been identified as Derrick Chanda, was driving a Mercedes Benz truck registration number ACP1329 belonging to Orodere Transport of Lusaka and transporting cement into the Congo DR.
Sources at the Zambia Revenue Authority customs office at Kasumbalesa and police confirmed the incident that happened at Lumada, 20 kilometres into Congo.
According to the sources, a group of Congolese blocked the road at a sloppy area demanding that the truck allows them to pass as they were going for burial.
The source explained that the truck tried to swerve and in the process overturned and spilt the cement which was looted by the same people, including suspected Congolese police officers.
“When they looted the cement, the story changed from going for burial and now they accused him of having hit one mourner and they pushed him back inside the truck and burnt him beyond recognition,” the source explained.
“So the drivers from Tanzania, South Africa and Zambia have all parked, the border has since been closed and as a show of solidarity, they are demanding that the Congolese border closes permanently and Congo isolated because of the behaviour of the Congolese. It’s barbaric…so they wanted him to give them money…the lorry boy escaped and we are told he is from Ndola and currently he’s at Kakoso clinic in Chililabombwe.”
Chanda together with his helper was believed to be from Ndola.
A delegation from Zambia yesterday crossed into Congo to establish what caused the driver to be burnt to death.

Passive Zambians. We will only end up at insulting and complaining. Even at the border at Kasumbalesa, it had to take South African and Tanzanian drivers to demonstrate and refuse to cross the border in solidarity with the deceased driver. Zambians will always be mistreated and killed like dogs in other countries such as Zimbambwe. Zambians wake up……….

They finish our mealie meal, maize,eggs, even goats and they dare bite the finger that feeds them! They are the cause of price hikes in these commodities because they are desperate. God avenge us! The’s no rule of law in DRC and doing business with Congolese people inside their country can never be safe. Deliver whatever they import to the Kasumbalesa border post and let them come and clear and collect on thier own. I had trucks delivering stuff there which I never allowed to cross the border, precisely because of the unpredictable nature of those people.

The Congolese inhuman treatment of fellow human beings have been embedded in their brains after a legacy left by their forefathers who also acquired it from the Belgians .Look at the kind of civil war atrocities; rape ,amputating ,massacring of entire families etc. It is only not mineral wealth which ignites several civic wars but also barbaric nature of people. They do notcare whether Zambians kill a Congolese in same manner to them it normal death.
