Rangers Unveil “Big Fi” Simukonda

Club chairman Blackwell Siwale told bolayathu.com that Smukonda had been engaged on a three year deal.
“Yes, I can finally conffrim that we have hired Mr Simukonda as Nchanga Rangers coach,” Siwale said. “We have given him a three year contract.”
He said Simukonda would be free to chose his assistants.
“We have given him leeway to chose his assistants and recruit players.
Simukonda quit Nakambala Leopards on Friday midway through his second season.

Fighton will only add more misery to nchanga because of the bad luck he is carrying from Nakambala. what change is he going to bring to nchanga which he could not do while at nakambala?

Bruce was even performing better than Fighton. It is a very big gamble by siwale and his committee.Fighton was a good coach then and not now.He should have taken leave from football like Pepe!!

That’s good for rangers because he has experience. But why was Bruce mwape fired, he is equally a good couch and experienced.

Sikonda prove critics wrong Nakambala is not Rangers. Two teams are in different places. Rangers are in copperbelt.
Please Rangers support the man he has quality. You do not judge a coach by the failure of players. Nakambala are holding on the monies.(players are good) soccer is Commercial nowardays.
Chiluba(MMD)sold companies/mines & soccer. Team should pick a leaf out that.

How i wish we can learn from our developed friends.
The first mistake was Tana go as assistant coach. To me Tana and Bruce worked very well and we saw the results. There was no need to fire Bruce, he should have been allowed to complete the season and then effect whatever changes. Simukonda has not performed at Nakambala and thats the guy you go for!
Look at how the Gunners started the season, was Wenger fired? ManU suffered a humiliating defeat to ManC, was Freguson fired?
Rangers had stabilised now misfiring Fighton will have to start allover again. Watch the space.
First Liverpool fires King Kenny for Brendan, and now locally Rangers fire Bruce for misfiring Fighton!!! SOS…
