FIFA Casts Doubt On Zambia’s 3-Points Haul Off Sudan

FIFA has cast doubts on Zambia’s hopes to haul three points off Sudan following the use of an ineligible player in a 2014 Brazil World Cup qualifier last month.

Sudan fielded Saif Ali Eldin Adris in a Group D match played in Khartoum that Zambia lost 2-0 on June 2, 2012.

A few days later it emerged that Saif, scorer of the second goal, was actually suspended for the match after which FAZ announced it had complained to FIFA on the matter.

Responding to a bolayathu press query, FIFA has revealed that Zambia is not a party to the disciplinary proceedings with respect to the Sudan match.

FIFA’s position raises questions as to whether the FAZ complaint, which was feared to have been submitted late, was entertained or thrown out on that account.

“Please also note that in regards to your first question Zambia is not a party of the proceedings at the Disciplinary Committee,” reads the FIFA statement.

Wat fifa mean by saying Zambia isn’t part of the proceedings is that;Wateva the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings they will only punish sudan and not giv zambia 3points.

Zambia is not part of proceedings means, we should be complainants and judges at the same time. the proceedings are in the hands of FIFA who will inform the complainant on the rulling. The FIFA Official was merely telling the Journalist to take it cooly and wait, and not to be Judges themselves

Ba 2Mfweko boza mulinayo maningi. It was you who insisted that Zambia had been awarded three points when most bloggers were doubting your story. You stubbornly clung to the claim and even made Ghanaians start fighting Zambians on your site.

Now you come with another half-baked story. from which you draw conclusions that have not been alluded to by FIFA.

Being not part of the proceedings is not a judgement in itself … for sure we have to aim for our own points … but all wrong doers in football like sudan did won’t go scot free … punishment cometh for sudan come what may … INJ … watch this space … nonetheless with or without sudan’s punishment resulting in our gaining extra 3 points .. Zambia is pulling through to Brasilia 2014… its our hour of greatness … Ghana and Sudan will sort themselves with draws as we faithfully teach more football lessons to our beloved fellow southerners … dear Lesotho … thanku and GOD bless the Republic of Zambia in all spheres of life — Shalom 0977845028

FIFA is corrupt through and through.I gree with Mali that they are not happy with underdogs are champions. They wanted Cote d’Ivoir to win so that there is a lot of glamour to the AFCON. Are you aware that it is the first time in history that winners of AFCON share 50-50 with the runners up. All because FIFA were trying to console Ivry Coast.

The way i see it, what this simply means is that the judgment will not be based on Zambia’s complaint, which is the correct thing i believe. Meaning whether Zambia complained or Not, FIFA where going to take action as long as the issue was picked. this is infact in favour of Zambia because it removes the question of whether the complaint was filed whithin the 72hour period or not…… I see the 3 points coming. WATCH THIS SPACE!!
