Breaking News: RB Ponders Divorce ‘Drunkenness & Adultery Cripple Him’
Former president Rupiah Banda at State House a week before he was voted out
This follows Banda’s alleged private love affair with a named Zambian woman based in the United States.
Sources close to the former first family revealed to Tumfweko that since his going to the United States to take up a role as a resident lecturer at Boston University, Banda has been involved with the woman in question.
The source also disclosed that Banda had carelessly been patronizing drinking places in company with the same woman, an act which has angered Thandiwe.
“This old man is behaving as if he has never been head of state before. It is very unfortunate and embarrassing to Zambia especially that he was recommended to sit on the Club De Madrid. He has no morals,” said the source.

The sources claimed Thandiwe who is a strong woman and withstood Banda’s heavy drunkenness whilst in State House is believed to be tired with the old man’s behavior.
“We cannot walk with our heads up. This old man must be talked to. We even doubt his sanity; no wonder his judgement in state house was poor.
Rupiah wanted to use ‘dollar loss saga’ as a scapegoat for divorce but it didn’t work out, he has been looking for other reasons to use to create problems in his marriage and subsequently warranty divorce. ”
Rupiah recently came back to Zambia from United States without the company of his wife Thandiwe Banda who remained in the States.
