Political scientist Alex Ng’oma has advised politicians in the country to be orderly in the manner they conduct their daily affairs.
And Dr. Ng’oma has also advised opposition political and civil society organizations to desists from making alarming statements that will have a negative impact on the country’s political landscape.
Speaking in an interview with Qfm news, Dr. Ng’oma says the unnecessary conflicts taking place on the political platform are retrogressive and will have a bearing on Zambia’s efforts in enhancing democracy.
He has further described as misplaced assertions by some political leaders that the move by the Patriotic Front government to bring to book erring officials from the previous regime, is an assault on democracy.
Dr. Ng’oma says the democratic theory has no theory as an assault on democracy and further urges politicians to stop bickering, but that they should focus on how they will help government deliver development to the Zambians.
