KK Admitted In Intesive Care Unit (ICU) At UTH

This was after the husband Dr. Kenneth Kaunda fell ill and has since been admitted to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
Colonel Panji Kaunda, the son to the former head of state has confirmed the development to QFM news in a telephone interview.
Colonel Kaunda said his father Dr. Kaunda started feeling unwell because of suspected stress saying he has not hard enough rest from the time that Mama Betty died.
Colonel Kaunda, who is also deputy minister of communication, transport works and supply said the nation should remain calm as Dr. Kaunda has just been admitted to UTH for observation by medical personnel.
He said revised funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Meanwhile a check at the cathedral of the holy Cross found that mourners had dispersed.
Earlier UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema survived an attack from suspected PF cadres at the funeral service for Mama Betty which has since been postponed.
UPND deputy spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa has confirmed the development to QFM news and described the act as shameful.
Mr. Mweetwa has noted that what is more surprising that the misconduct of the suspected PF cadres has come barely 24 hours after President Michael Sata preached peace in parliament.
Mr. Mweetwa said the some people who included William Banda and Edward Mumbi were beaten in full view of the police who watched helplessly.
A police officer is also reported to have been beaten badly by the suspected PF cadres.
Meanwhile, The Zambia association of Manufactures ZAM has dismissed media reports that its immediate past President Dev Babbar has died.
ZAM Chief executive officer Rotesa Mwape says in a statement released to QFM news says Mr. Babbar is still alive and admitted to CBF hospital.
However Mr. Babbar is said to be in a critical condition in the Intensive care unit.
ZAM has since pledged to keep updating its members on the status of Mr. Babbar.

Please I would urge every writer not to joke about the death of our Mama Betty and the hospitalization of Our KK cause it is not even funny. Can people sit and imagine how long 60+ in marriage is like? Am sure those that are writing funny, silly massages are all under 30 (not even half of it). Please be serious this is ultimate grief.
Of course death is an appointment we all have with God almighty. Death is a gift God has given all of us, we will die on a day of Gods Choice and manner.
May the soul of Mama Betty Rest in Heavenly Peace.
