Ruth Mbandu ‘killer’ arrested

POLICE in Lusaka have arrested a man believed to be a key suspect and ‘missing link’ in the Ruth Mbandu gruesome murder syndicate.
Impeccable sources have revealed that the man, whose age and name have been withheld, was arrested last Wednesday in Kanyama township and he is detained at Emmasdale police station.
The July ghastly murder of Ruth, 19, a National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) student, shook the nation, especially given the highly bizarre circumstances surrounding it.
The sources said police were tipped and led to the suspect by his ex-girlfriend whom he had invited for a drink at a local pub in Kanyama.

“Police were led by his ex-girlfriend who was not comfortable with the idea of going out with him for a drink, she alerted police who arrested him,” the sources said.

The sources said the ex-girlfriend also warned police not to mention his name even when effecting arrest, for fear that he may elude their dragnet as he is believed to possess charms that ‘detect’ attempts by police to arrest him.

Sources further disclosed that the suspect is linked to serial killings in Lusaka and other places and that his motive for the brutal and shocking horror killings, is some “unexplained rituals”.
“Simply put, this man has been the missing link or jigsaw puzzle piece in this murder investigation and now he has been cornered,” the source said.
Efforts to get a comment from both Inspector General of Police Stella Libongani and Lusaka Province police commissioner Solomon Jere proved futile. They both declined to comment.
Dr Jere however said that police would most likely give a position on Ruth’s murder investigations today.

But the Daily Mail has established for a fact that the ‘missing’ link in the dragnet that has sucked in five suspects, including the girl’s maternal uncle, is being held under tight security.
The hunt for the murder suspect peaked after Finance Deputy Minister Miles Sampa-also Matero member of Parliament-staked a bounty on the head of suspects.

The bounty presently stands at K30 million and it is not clear who will be given the money, should it be proved that the man in detention at Emmasdale police is the one that actually killed Ruth and possibly many others.

Mr Sampa when reached yesterday said: “I have no comment on this matter as it is still under investigation.”

If what Tupac is saying is true then there maybe more to the story, he was arrested because he was found with Ruth’s uncle phone number. If any of you have the phone number, be on the look out….you are the missing link.

I think the man was hired by the uncle, bishop etc to murder Ruth. So they are not innocent. Whatever led the ex-girlfriend to tell? Hope not sour grapes.

If proved guilty, he should be hanged together with his accomplices to serve as a lesson to all those who engage themselves in such evil acts.

I think firing squard would be better, kill at spot would be fine, not peeling the skin, I can imagine the pain my dear Niece went throw crying for no help at all no one came to her rescue, soldiers to fire them one by one., they had their time to do what they wanted on a person who is alive, this is also rubbish to understand, if killing a chicken one has to give it a second thought, nomba sure a human being. idiots

Good question, who killed Ruth, in this group there should be the person who wanted ruth to be killed, the person who was monitoring her movedments, the person hired to kill her, the driver who was driving the vehicle used and the person who killed was for sure certainly not alone, such murder involves few individuals, there should be three or four groups involved, surely they can run but not to hide, here they are now regetting. in jail elyo nokukaba uku.

Everyone who was involved in Ruth’s murder must face the painful death, they have to be killed slowly not at once (Man on Fire).
