Picture Of The Day !

A house in Lusaka’s Kamwala township has a ZESCO pole protruding through its sitting room roof and the house is beautiful.
The Lusaka City Council is very much aware and so is ZESCO. This can indeed only happen in Africa.

Will the house be demolished?, We await to see the action which will be taken by relevant authorities.

In short, both council and Zesco are both dead and full of relatives as workers. Does Zesco carry out periodical inspections of its assets?

No structures are supposed to be built under ZESCO power lines. As power passes through the lines a magnetic field is created around the lines and these field can cause cancer. If you check, no one is allowed to trade under the ZESCO power lines at SOWETO market in Lusaka. If trading is not allowed, what about sleeping under the power lines. This is maddness of it’s worst kind.

you can not blame the council for demolishing illegal structures the fact is that when the illegal structures are not demolished you end up having situations like this. and the truth of the matter is that the same people who are building these are also crying to the president that he should have mercy.
