Lawlessness: Heartless Chinese Boss Slices Off Zambian Worker’s Ear

A twenty-four year old man of Lusaka’s Kanyama compound has had his left ear sliced after being severely hit with an iron bar by his Chinese employer of China Jiangxi Corporation Limited.

Douglas Mwila was hit on the ear following a dispute over works on a drainage with his foreman only identified as Mr. Gou.

The incident occurred at Lusaka’s Embassy Park were construction works at the Ministry of Home Affairs have since commenced.

The matter has since been reported to the police but given the relationship between the Zambian government and the Chinese, it is doubtful if the Chinese assailant will be punished.

Let us see how the law will handle this because those Zambians who killed their Chinese employer were hunted down. Let this kachoncholi face the law too and I hope he does not just end up with a fine like those Chinese who shot pellets at their workers in Southern Province.

The government should let the law take its course. I am currently living in china and I know how mean these people can be to black people-especially Africans . We shouldn’t let these people intimidate us even in our own country, just who the hell do they think they are?

Please kill also and they will learn, we only have one country Zambia.

Ooh how sad but what a blessing! This is a great opportunity for Douglas to pay school fees for his siblings who are just sitting at home and also to pay his rent the landlord has been pushing him for.

The Chinese Mr. Gou will pay off Douglas quietly and the matter will not see a day in court…..lame justice!

Remember the Muvi TV telejournalist who was beaten by William Banda? He was paid a K 30m and has now almost completed building his house. ‘When you are slapped on one cheek freely turn the other cheek up for another slap’

Douglas should have asked Mr. Gou to pick another iron bar to slice his other ear!

Funny but great points you bring up @ likaki.
Can the courts exercise certain powers so that they do not allow complainants to withdraw certain cases after being paid off in the infamous out-of-court settlements?

We want to see what PF is made of because these are some of the things they used to criticize. Not only PF but also NGO’s and the opposition. When the Chinese was killed at Maamba Coal Mine, you had spoken so strong now here it comes. We want to see selfish you are over money or the life of your Zambian people. This is the time to weigh who has the true Zambian heart.

Fellow Zambians, a “Crime is a Crime” whether Chinese or Zambians. The offender has to be brought to book and the law has to take its cause. This is an aggravated assault which is criminal. In this case the Zambian government of today must show that they respect human beings not gifts/corruption/money.

    Bad afternoon ladies and Gentlemen,

It’s sad that our indigenouus Zambians can be suffering at the hands of these ****** chinese in our homeland and nothing is happening to them.

I therefore introduce sharia law against the chinese with immediate effect.

This action by a Mr. Gou will result in battering 20 chinese at a goal. The Maamba incident was a dyonko. Now the real war has started.

All the chinese people leaving in Zambia must stay in doors otherwise, you will be come the first victims.

    Bye

Why are the Chinese so violent? A month doesn’t pass before we hear of a Chinese investor physically attacking a worker They have gone as far as attempting to murder their workers by shooting them with a gun. They seem to have no respect for Zambian lives. Not to say the British exploiters were better but At least the British coloniser wasn’t shooting his workers. Should I take a KungFu class if I’m employed by these new colonisers?

By the way have you noticed how the puffy our president’s face looked in Korea and at the Cathedral! are we ok?
