SAD: Congolese Soldiers Shoots Zambian Fisherman

Police in Mansa are investigating a matter in which a fisherman on the Luapula River was shot by a Congolese Marine.

Police deputy public relations officer Munganga Chanda in a statement to QFM news says Webby Mambwe, 32, while in the company of five others, who are suspected to have been fishing, was shot at yesterday at around 16 hours.

Mrs. Chanda narrates that the bullet went in through Mambwe’s chick and came out through the throat.

The victim is currently admitted in Mansa general hospital.

And in another development, one person has died on the spot while another died on the way to the hospital after being run over by a vehicle in Mansa.

The deceased who were hit by a Toyota Spacio registration number ACT 13337, have been identified as Joseph Mainga and Lameck Chilufya, both of Chief Chimese of Nyamjuna village.

Mrs. Chanda says the accident happened yesterday around 19 hours near Kaole stadium in Mansa when the driver, identified as Danny Chungu of Mansa police camp, lost control and carried-off the road when he tried to overtake another vehicle.

    These guys are not real soldiers but they are so called BAKABOKI.They are just home guards,why killing civilians?

    Theres something going on in the zambian govt today. When Angolan soldiers were playing games in the area bordering with zambia the late Former president Chiluba issued a strong warning to who ever was disturbing his pipo. Why are we not hearing that now. A zambian is a zambia even if he is a poor truck driver, or a fisher man or a white vice president or kaponya or a dare student or an A+ student.

    If the so called soldiers are maning their side it means they have seen the stratagic importance that we have not seen our selves so work up government you are sleeping involve security wings also to interven its too much of this bull sheetok, here it is;
