CORRUPTION: Police Release Brutal Chinese Employer Without Charge
A Chinese employer who assaulted a Zambian worker at China Jiangxi Corporation on Friday October 19th 2012 is alleged to have corrupted the assaulted man and three police officers of Longacres police station in order to drop charges against him.
Mr Gou, a foreman at the company is alleged to have bribed the victim Douglas Mwila of Kanyama Township with a five hundred thousand kwacha and one hundred thousand kwacha each to three police officers.
Irate workers dragged Mr Gou from his office where he was hiding and took him to police headquarters demanding for the law to take its course.
Meanwhile Lusaka police Commissioner Dr Solomon Jere says the police will ensure culprits are dealt with accordingly.

This Chinese issue though criminal its a small issue. MWANSA former CG at ZRA is on record to have admitted in court that senior officials at ZRA including himself were involved in tax fraud. This is more criminal in my view.

muvi tv: A Forty year old Chinese National accused of having sliced the ear of a Zambian casual worker has denied the charge of assault.
Guo Haisheng a carpenter of China Jiangxi Corporation Limited has however agreed to compensate twenty four year old Douglas Mwila.
Mwila has demanded fifty million kwacha compensation.
But Lusaka Principle Resident Magistrate Alaidah Chulu says the fifty million kwacha demand is outrageous but has advised that both the complainant and the accused discuss how they proceed with compensation.
Magistrate Chulu has however granted Haisheng bail further ordering him to present two working sureties who should be Zambians.ok, here it is;
