Looming Draw Shouldn’t Leave Us Sleepless: Njobvu
Zambia midfielder William Njobvu says getting into gear for the 2013 Africa Cup is more important than worrying about the draws.
The Israel-based midfielder told said that he did not believe Zambia would have any easy Group C games in Nelspruit this January after the draws are made on October24 in Durban.
“What is important now is to see that we prepare good for any team and every battle because it won’t be easy whether we play a big team or a small team,” Njobvu said.
The Be’er Sheva midfielder said he was looking forward to the draws but would rather the African champions gets down to work after Wednesdays big day in Durban.
“I think it’s not important to focus on the teams will meet,” Njobvu said.
“We can put it into consideration but we cannot focus on that

As defending champions we shouldn’t expect any easy games wether from small or big teams coz we are the team to beat at the moment! I concur with William Njovu no need to ponder about who we are going to be drawn with coz all the matches will be tough for us,nevertheless i know the boys will not let us down!

That’s the meaning of a completion – you go to win a tournament by beating whoever comes your way, and not who you CHOOSE to play!! We did it in Equ-Guinea/Gabon and we can do it in SA, but it won’t be easy. Remember we are no longer underdogs. The teams to watch though are Cape Verde, DRC, Ethiopia and Togo. Given a choice I’d go for Nigeria, Angola and Mali, but let God decide, we’ll comply!!

For u to be the best, u need to beat the best. All the teams are beatable. Chipolopolo needs to be ready for any team, nothing like avoiding this and that team or working on maths to qualify to the knockout stage! Go Zambia Go!!
