Dear Editor,
A lot has been said on the issue of Porn and we cannot keep quiet about it, but Zambia has more issues that the Courts can deal with than this “small issue”. Bravo to the courts! Bravo! You have won the case on behalf of the State on small Iris Kaingu; now prove to us by winning the big cases, Illegal tenders! Abuse of Office. We are grateful. Build our confidence.
I am not favoring the Kaingu case, but pledge with the courts to deal with issues of illegal tenders? If there are not true, we need to know. Why should all eyes turn on the small elephant and let the Big Ones go free. We still have issues in of “illegal tenders”, abuse of office, the case of Longacres Police been Corrupt and the issue of the Brutal Chinese Employer release without Charge.
What is the Judiciary telling us? Many have voiced out on the issues affecting us? Illegal tenders! Corrupt Officers! Corruption when getting NRC! Corruption at Passport office! Abuse of Office!
Will it be the same with the big elephants that Justice will be purchased? Are the poor going to be the only ones to serve sentences? Is Zambia ruled by the rule of Law? Is Justice has be equal on all Zambians?
I and many other people want to trust the law enforcement wings, but how can we if there some kind of justice purchased? One who has money serves sentence outside jails. Like Nietzsche, “We shall not be upset with the Judiciary because Justice is sold, we shall be upset because we shall not believe in Justice” and the law of the land and we shall take law in our own hands.” Let the Chinese man face the law, let the Longacres Police officers face the wrath of law too. Why Kaingu only and let the other big fishes swim freely?
Now deal with the big elephants, let the Kaingu case repose. We are seeing the interpretation of the Law. Remember, “All things are subject to interpretation. Whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.” What are to telling us?

October 26, 2012 at 10:11 am
For sure, spare her, yes, but one point again if it was a poor man’s child, we were going to say what?? ni Njala tee, for sure, primitivity was going to prevail, when Ester was mereling kissing Nsanda, people said a lot, because she is from poverty, now Iris, is she from PoverTY??, I doubt, see children are a gift from God. they re are our given to us in trust, but not that they are property, a parent is able to control her children well when they are still under age, the moment the pass certain age, it would be difficult to note every step they take, therefore, when something wrong happens like Iris’s case parents are blamed. Am sure Iris has never experienced poverty in her life time, but see what she did, what was she looking for? money, or pleasure? I like the Nigerian type of responding to certain sentiments – ALL THEY SAY IS – WE THANK GOD- AND FOR SURE, ONLY GOD GUIDES THESE CHILDREN, THE STEPS THEY TAKE INLIFE AMAZES EVEN THE PARENTS, IRIS’S MOTHER DID NOT EXPECT THIS OUT-COME. EVERYTHING IN THE LORDS HANDS. WHAT A POOR MAN CAN DO EVEN A RICHMANS CHILD CAN.
END.

Great observation Michael….Keep it up and continue speaking like that because you are shaping the destiny of our nation. One day the Zambian people will rise up by the ballot and take over the benches of Judiciary in order to restore the values of our nation which for a long time have been put in a trash can by these who think they can play on our minds. You powers that be remember that seasons come and seasons go. The time is fast approaching when everything that is not in order now shall be put in order. It is already written in the sky. God is looking down from heaven and is seeing your corruption and how you deny people justice.****** Babylonians it pains us to see how you have put our country in a mess. I only hope the MSC administration will bring sanity because they spoke strongly during the time we were in rough waters together.

It was illegal for a Zambian judge to charge Iris.Iris is not a Zambian because she is from Barotse. The case should have been tried by kuta ya situngu. The ten million should be paid to the the Lozi King.I wonder what Lozis are still doing in the diaspora.Iris please, come back kwa hae and enjoy fish and rice.

Yes come on Michael!!!!! You are 100% right. We are just tired of the way justice is being twisted and misused, we want to see bigger cases being worked on than always running after small cases just because the victims are not able to bribe. Awe natusakamana ifwe mwe!!

But you people – tell me, what is so wrong about porn kanshi – after all we all watch in the privacy of our homes to bring some excitement into our relationships and marriage…
Those claiming not to watch it – no wonder your husbands seek excitement elsewhere….
iris did not intentionally release this tape – why not investigate who released it and jail that person – leave the poor girl alone
WOMAN

also let the courts deal with illegal land dealers especially cadres. who said or who gave cadres power to mediate over land, allocate and process title, this is not only ridiulous but preposterous! show us fight against corruption in land deals in Obama area and silverest area in chongwe.

Dear Editor, you are in error by saying Iris issue is small. Do you call eroding morals in our colleges small.? Using personal sexual desires to lure curiousity just to make extra cash?? You got to be kidding. Get your books right and your mind straight. That is no small issue…she has painted a very disgraceful and abominable picture of our culture…you calling it small makes you no worse than herself. Please be careful with the terms you use as this cannot be accepted. Even the fine charged is nothing compared to what she should have faced….she makes over $5000 per show for such activity at the expense of innocent zambians who are merely trying to build a good moral life and future,….and then you call that small??????

Look at the bright side. A precedent has now beeen set:
“All would be porn stars in Zambia intending to make porn for sale must only prepare K10m in case they are caught.” Meanwhile they woukd have sold the material for K100m

Iris is not the first one rich or poor the DEVIL is at work know the real world stop prentending. They will never be justice in Zambiaok, here it is;
