Nevers Mumba : Zambia Is On Pause Under PF

HH with Nevers

MMD president Nevers Mumba has charged Zambia has been in a pause mode since the Patriotic Front took over power following its victory in the 2011 elections.

Addressing a rally in Mufumbwe today broadcast live on MUVI TV to drum up support for the MMD candidate Standford Mulusa, monitored by QFM News, Dr Mumba urged the people of Mufumbwe to erupt a volcano by rejecting the PF candidate Steven Masumba in this Thursday’s parliamentary by-elections.

Dr Mumba said the people of Mufumbwe should erupt the political volcano in the by-elections which will eventual engulf the entire country which PF will fail to contain.

He told the people gathered at the rally that Thursday’s by-elections was between honest and dishonest.

Dr Mumba rallied the people of Mufumbwe deliver a judgment on the leadership of the PF by voting for the MMD candidate in the by-elections.

But the Patriotic Front says MMD president Nevers Mumba’s attacks on President Michael Sata and the PF government in Mufumbwe are immature and lacking the substance expected of a serious political leader.

PF Media and Publicity Director Chanda Mfula in a statement released to QFM News Dr Mumba cannot today claim to champion values that he has always failed to live by.

Mr Mfula says Zambians have not forgotten that it was President Sata who exposed Pastor Mumba’s double dealings between late President Levy Mwanawasa, and opposition leaders after the 2001 elections, when Dr Mumba was masquerading as one of the opposition leaders.

He says even President Mwanawasa could not keep Pastor Mumba in government for long after realizing that he was dealing with an individual who could not be entrusted with national responsibilities.

Mr Mfula says the PF is aware that a great majority of the MMD membership does not want to be part of the unconstructive politics being propagated by Pastor Mumba.

He says Pastor Mumba should realize that he is sitting on a time bomb, leading reluctant followers who find his leadership disdainful and unpatriotic.

He adds that it is sad that Pastor Mumba has been on a mission to mislead the people in Mufumbwe by telling lies about President Sata and the PF.

Mr Mfula says there is nothing the MMD leader can promise the people of Mufumbwe which the MMD could not do when they were in a much better position during their 20 years in government.

President Sata is setting a legacy of telling the truth and not to misled the people,He said and I quote” please we have not come to mumfumbwe to create heavens on earth” the hosnest statement which leaders have failed to tell people and nevers needs to learn say for the past 24 elections,Very honest he said what the PF is going to do and how they are going to do it using there candidate and Nevers came with attacks on the President and talked of dreams and as usaul the holyspirit told him to go and tell the people of mumfumbwe of a Volcanol which the poor people dort known and understand,Instead of telling people what and how the MMD was going to bring desks for school going children siting on the floor for the past 48 years and water is what the people want and not the Volcanol, Please bo NEVERS stop politics of lies and misleding talk on issues in your manfesto,The problem When you are given people to talk too and you see so many you think its a church and your Holyspirit starts to work to speak anything to a wrong people and thats What MMD will face with its leader,he will go on making blunders,He still thing he is preaching to a flock even at a political rally
