Edward Mumbi Ditches UPND
Special Assistant to the UPND president for special duties Edward Mumbi has with immediate effect resigned from the opposition party.
In a letter dated November 15, 2012 and addressed to the UPND Secretary General Winston Chibwe, obtained by QFM News, Mr. Mumbi has thanked UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema, the national management committee and the entire party membership for according him an opportunity to serve the party at a senior level.
Mr. Mumbi had previously served as PF Secretary General before resigning to join the MMD and was part of the campaign team of former President Rupiah Banda in the 2011 tripartite elections; before he ditched the now opposition party after it lost the 2011 elections citing the rampant corruption in the former ruling party.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Country men and women of Zambia, I Edward Mumbi, today have resigned from UPND bcos I had a dream that GOD asked me to replace Nevers Mumba at his former Church so that ZAMBIA SHALL BE SAVED.
Therefore, I am now a Born Again and I will called PASTOR EDWARD MUMBI. Please come and have praise and worship with me on Sunday and each one should come with K50,000 as offering, K100,000 for church building and K500,000 each as tithe.

I want to meet this chap, Mumbi so that we chat in the form of counselling. It seems he entered politics for personal gain only, looking at the fact that he has moved from one political party to another non-stop.
In my counselling session I would urge him to soldier on since he has not yet been in Heritage Party, ADDA, FDD, NAREP and the new party in the making with GBM as leader. Furthermore I would ask him to divorce his wife fearing betrayal on his part. SHAME ON THIS TRAITOR.
