SAFA Apologizes to FAZ for The Attack On The African champion Team Bus

South African Football Association president Kirsten Nematanani has apologized to his Zambian counterpart Kalusha Bwalya and entire Football Association of Zambia for the attack on the African champion team bus.

Kennedy Mweene and Felix Katongo suffered injuries as the

Zambian bus was hit by huge rocks which shattered the windows. The bus was attacked as the team left the FNB stadium for the hotel.

Our photo shows checking Mweene’s injury after he received treatment on the bus from the Zambian squad medical staff.

Safa apologise for what.zambian soccer lovers are pathetic parasite who only understand their feeling when the game is in the favour.mbesuma he’s now a hero after netting the lone goal, if i remember last time he was called and named all sorts of funny and demeaning silly comments.right now colins he’s being harassed by south africans for that goal.zambians fans are using memory of a kanyelele.the same apply to kalusha bwalya.now he’s a great kalu. Yestaday he was called chi kalu iwe! Learn to change your mind set and know the know how of football.and stop praising double standards.if mbesuma does not score in the next 10 games or be outclassed below par.always expect the unexpected from sickening zed fans.

That is barbaric! They should know that football is a game where u lose some and win some! I think south Africans are still sleeping in the stone age and are yet to wake up to modern civilisation! God bless our great Nations.

The incident was very unfortunate and saddening, especially that the friendly was a challenge cup in the name of such iconic figure as Nelson Madiba Mandela.

However, I think we may be oging overboard by condemning the entire South African population. Those who attacked the bus are soccer hooligans, infact, if the arrests made are anything to go by, minors under 15 years. This can happen anywhere, while unfortunate.

FAZ, through its President Kalusha Bwalya has already accepted this apology and indicated that we move on, Zambia will not lodge complaint about the incident.

I support this decision, especially bearing in mind our close ties, number of Zambian players working and living in South Africa. Besides, South Africa hosting the ournament is for the pride of the sub-region and it would be unfortunate to make it difficult for them.

Going forward, SAFA and the South African Government need to sensitise its public, especially die-hard soccer fans on the impications of such behaviour!!!!

Mr advisor read the lines of that “nosense” comment again and analyse the article instinctly.the two youth who stoned the bus carrying copperbullet boýz has been arrested.now my story reminds soca fans what football, not be little players when outplayed .this is your public education 4 u to obtain wide knowledge young advisor.

ubututu from stone age shaka through apartheid nd they attack our players thinking we r going to forgive nd forget.so it was a gimmick to invite the afcon champs so that they can kill or maim them in order for them to have a safe passage in 2013.faz be bold nd lodge a complaint against these barbarian fools who cnt accept that even their league has been strengthened by zambians.

One has to go to south Africa and see how other African nationals are treated. its not too long ago when they started burning other Africans and also not too long ago when they were flooded in Zambia. I remember them being brought to school in busses and in large numbers.

It makes sad reading and wishing our national heros a quick recovery!

Zed should complain to CAF and FIFA so AFCON 2013 is moved elsewhere and delayed so we enjoy being champions for longer. Kalu knows the rules well and must not be soft with SAFA.

Barotse diaspora, be level headed in the way u look @ things, Mbusuma could have not scored that brilliant goal had it not been for peoples positive criticism.Positive criticism usually helps us to reflect on our past mistakes and make adjustments as long as pride doesnt over shadow our thinking. Bafana Bafana pliz grow up!The word is is busy fighting racism in sport and you are there stoning your own brothers…shame on you.
