Our client, a trading and engineering company, is looking to recruit a Country Manager. Reporting to the Group Chairman (based in Germany), you will be responsible for overseeing the overall sales function of the company. Your duties will include: overseeing operations of the local company including management of a small energetic team,developing and recommending short and long term goals, strategies and objectives to the Board, providing oversight of company projects, attracting new business for the company, ensuring all operations and activities of the company are conducted in accordance with applicable Laws and rules of the company, providing regular reports to the Head office and ensuring proper Financial Controls. To be considered for this position you must have a Business Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Finance from a recognized University with a minimum of 5 years experience in sales management. You must also have a thorough understanding and knowledge of government procurement regulations and experience in tender processes, in addition to having a detailed and full understanding of Zambia with extensive prior travel locally and internationally. You must possess good creativity skills, excellent innovative skills, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Closing date: Monday 19th November 2012. Ref W995. I thought tumfweko did this to deliberately stimulate a debate about this overexgerrated job description which is not clear wetaher a Zambian is needed in the position or an expetriate.There is mention of some one having knoledge of Zambia,knoledge of procrurement services of goverment apart from that you must have travelled extensively locally and internationaly.This job sounds more attractive than it should be.Kaya but why post on tumfweko a news forum, that is why I am like what is tumfweniko trying to get at.Good luck to the applicants.

maybe it is a true JOB…. No all shooters are graduates so not maybe targeting as some people.
