Mahtani Sues Brebner Changala For False Allegations

Mr. Changala is reported as having written a letter to President Sata and the Anti-Corruption Commission and raised a number of allegations all of which have been deemed as defamatory by Mahtani. These allegations have emanated on numerous previous occasions orchestrated as a ‘malicious’ plot by the Ventriglias, Odys Mandenakis, Mohamed Salama through their lawyer Sakwiba Sikota S.C. in cahoots with the former President Rupiah Banda.
Dr. Mahtani is reported to have instructed his lawyers to study the letters by Changala which have also been published by a named online news website and a print media namely Daily Nation.
Among other key allegations raised by Changala, include his assertion that the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mutembo Nchito entered a nolle prosequi to extricate his creditor Mahtani from criminal liability is some cases that he alleges Mahtani was facing.
The truth of the matter is simply that all the cases were politically motivated and lacked merit as evidenced from the submissions.
Mahtani is a Christian and a firm believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is convinced that to ‘spare a rod’ at this stage is merely to ‘spoil a child’ and this must be prevented to ensure that others are not damaged by this lot of criminals for their own personal gain!
