Satanists Kidnap Woman, Force Her to Drink Blood
A 24-year-old Zimbabwean woman from Hobhouse high-density suburb in Mutare escaped death by a whisker after she was abducted for 24 hours and forced to drink a concoction. The concoction, laced with blood by four unknown people who wanted to kill her.
In a suspected case of Satanism which happened last week, the four unidentified culprits, who are still at large, reviewed to Precious Munawa that they had the Revival Church Centre’s founder, Bishop Mtepfa as their main target before they pounced on her. Precious does clerical work at the church.
Manicaland provincial police spokesman, Inspector Enock Chishiri confirmed the kidnapping and said investigations were in progress.
“We are leaving no stone unturned in bringing the culprits to book,” he said.
Narrating the ordeal to The Weekender, a visibly traumatized Precious said she met the four accomplices who were driving a black Toyota Noah and they asked for directions to Zaoga Miracle Centre.
“Inside the car they were three men, a woman and some children who had some bibles. I gave them the directions but they insisted on me accompanying them to the church. Without suspecting anything, I complied. I, however, got suspicious when they locked the door and drove towards Christmas Pass. A woman who was sitting on the back grabbed me and stuck my head under the seat. I was struggling to breath before they blindfolded me.
“I heard them arguing that I was not the one whom they wanted but Lynn Sithole who is my workmate and Bishop Mtepfa’s niece. They demanded the bishop’s number before forcing me to drink a bitter concoction. They said they wanted to kill me and dump my body at Revival Centre Church to make people believe that Mtepfa is a ritualist. I do not remember what happened next but I woke up the following day and my kidnappers were still arguing if they must kill me or not. I escaped, ran away and saw a sign post inscribed ‘Redwing Mine Penhalonga’. I then reported the matter to Penhalonga Police station,” she said.
In a separate interview, Bishop Mtepfa acknowledged that he is under attack by the dark world. He said that when he learnt about the incident, he knew it was ploy to kill him.
“We instead decided to pray. The dark world feels threatened by the way we have been praying. They know that their kingdom is being exposed. They gave her (Precious) a strange concoction and that chain she vomited after prayers was a covenant and a connection to the dark world. It means that her life was going to be continuously monitored. The prayers that we conduct create confusion to the dark kingdom and we are breaking all the so-called powers. We are aware that they are using various strategies since the Bible said Satan could present himself as an angel of light. Every evil machination is dismantled in the name of Jesus,” he said.manica
