Kalusha Wants Fifa Ranking Criteria Changed

Kalusha Bwalya has suggested that Fifa rankings should be calculated basing on official international matches only.

Friendly matches also count on the monthly Fifa rankings.

In his latest article published by Forbes Africa Magazine, Kalusha said the rankings compiled by the world soccer governing body can be misleading because friendly matches also matter.
“My opinion is that rankings should only be calculated through official qualifying international matches.

“Fifa rankings can be so misleading because friendly matches also count and as such football associations with larger budgets can afford more significant high profile friendlies earning them false increased grading.

“If one were to use rankings as a true measure for grading teams, how do you explain the likes of Ethiopia ranked 33rd and Niger ranked 42nd in Africa qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations over Egypt, Senegal and Cameroon?” the Faz boss wrote.

Kalusha sits on the Fifa technical committee.

Kalusha if you have failed to develop zambian soccer just resign. stop wasting time with silly articles. Why did you not make an official complaint to FiFa and Caf over our players being attacked in south africa. you just wanted to impress your freinds in SAFA.

the fact that kalu seats on the fifa technical committee does not mean he is there to talk about zambia everyday the committee is seating. he is now too big for such. Pipo seem to say negative statements about him saying he has failed. how do you measure failure is sport? its during his tenure that we got the african cup. He has been instrumental in exposing young talents to big teams and most pipo out there respect zambian players by linking them to kalu. STOP and salute this guy who put our nation on the world football map by being the first to get theafrica footballer of the year .

But some of you fima bloggers are dull and envious of Bemba-speaking people. You cowdung swines, go to hell and hang yourselves. No wonder you sleep with cows, atase. Whether you like it or not, Bemba speaking people are smart, influential and are born leaders just like the Israelites. Kalu and MCS are on the throne and you cannot do anything about it.

@Ka Gelo, avoid tibal remarks am for kalu but you should also realise that the so called ‘smartpipo???’ ruined this country, you are smart in terms of crookedness, manupilation trickery and not brainy except for a few like mcs tho we are yet to see. so what I can say is you are foolish because you call thieves smart, can you imagine wer zed wud be without you crooks.

@Mwamba, do not misuse ‘smart” names. Like I said, whether you like it or not, Kalusha is President, so is MCS. I said bemba-speaking people, I did not say bembas. I am sure you are also a bemba-speaking individual. Besides, you all enjoy speaking Bemba because it is a romantic one. So if there is anything foolish, crookedness, manipulation (not manupilation as you call it) trickery, not brainy, then you are one of them.God is wise in the way he does things. So, please wait for God to intervene in the situation you are in i.e. the bitter one.

There’s a certain group of people who have sold themselves to the devil. Anything evil they associate it with the Bembas WHEN THEY THEMSELVES ARE EVIL.AS LONG AS U THINK THE WAY U DO THE MO U DESTROY URSELVES. KALU HAS A POINT.

Point of order please! There is nothing about tribe in above article so can people be civilised enough to stick to issue @ hand. Reading some tribal comments just shows how backwards some bloggers are.
Kalu has a point, friendly games ought not be used for ranking but major football tournaments. Whatever, the case,Zambia so far has proven they are worth their salt and whatever rank FIFA gives us is immaterial as long as we win games.Go Zambia!

The problem with some people in this country is that they are ungrateful and all they know is to condemn those who are doing far much better than them.Kalu is talking about the FIFA ranking criteria but some jealous individuals choose to attack him instead of commenting on Kalu’s observation. What kind of people are these? Am sure those pipo attacking Kalu are failures in life.Get a life pipo and stop criticizing anyhow.
Finally, i wud like to think Kalu’s observation is right.FiFa is somehow biased the way they rank teams.
