Load Shedding At State House Annoy SATA

Yesterday’s Load shedding at Sate House during a swearing in ceremony disappointed President SATA.

The president wondered how people in the townships cope with the power outages if state house could get affected in broad daylight during an important state event.

Mr Sata said ” if we are experiencing load shedding at state house, what about in compounds, what about Kanyama?”

The President said the power outages should be addressed quickly.

Power went off and on at short intervals during the ceremony.

when the president entered the room, power went off and he immediately  called for his principle private secretary Francis Chalabesa.

” Where is is Mr Chabalesa….we even have load shedding at state house,” he said.

Mr Sata was swearing in the Anti Corruption Commissioner and seven member of the Teaching Service Commission.

Mr President. This is just a reminder of the things we are suffering. The things that, at one stage, you were very aware of. The things you promised to change. The promises upon which the Zambian majority voted you into power. At one time you were in touch with the people of the compounds. The people of Kanyama. You did not wonder what we were going through. You knew. You saw it. You walked with us. And you promised us that once we put you there, things will change. They haven’t changed Sir. Things are getting worse. If this has happened to you, hope it reminds you, in some small way, how far you have moved from the person we put in State House, to the person we see today. I hope it makes you walk with us just one more time. Wear our shoes for a few seconds. Those are the shoes we wear daily. And they are wearing out fast.

Am wondering what type of leader we have….A “reactive” president.
Clearly shows he does not listen to his people’s complaints. We’ve been complaining on load shedding for such a long time!
Talk about tasting one’s own medicine!

When pipo u think would worship u throughout your life and then start nicknaming you then know, me of one gentleman in the UNIP who used to treat his given gvmnt workers, the other time, he was coming from ndola with one of his drivers, on the way, the then dr kaunda was making changes in the cabinet, and unfortunately this same gentle was removed, not changed but fired, immidiately the driver stopped the vehicle and flashed the so called past minister behind and asked him to sit in front JUST AS A PASSANGER, SO THOSE WHO THINK THEY WILL RIDE ON THE PRIORITY FOOLS ALL ALONG THEIR LIFE JOURNEY SHOULD TAKE THIS AS A WARNING. ONE DAY, MUZACHIONA IMWE.

Hahaha….Mr President Sir please spare us the comedy!! You mean you have changed? You should be having updates from the CEO’s of these strategic entities such as Zesco, Water Utility Companies Countrywide, FRA, RDA, Hospitals Countrywide, to find out their Plans, Actions, and Deadlines etc and crack the whip if they are not performing, how often are you meeting with them, how often are you meeting with your Ministers and Party Cadres to enlighten you of the problems the ordinary Zambians are facing You need Advisers,Planners, Strategists, and most importantly, you need to be taught etiquette from the school of Diplomacy etc, you cannot afford as Head of State to openly show ignorance on the Governance of this Nation. God forbid!!!!

Hahaha! One of these days he’ll wake up only to find there’s no mealie meal in state house. This goes to show the President has forgotten he promised to end load shedding in 90 days-we are still watching him.

It is no longer load shading but punishment for using ZESCO facility. There is nothing to to enjoy being connected to ZESCo actually. Do something Mr. President. Enough is enough.

These are times when l regret having voted for such a person,God forbid if l made a mistake by voting for Mr. Sata. If indeed l made a mistake God should never allow me to vote again. It seems our president doesn’t know we voted him to end loadshedding, fight corruption,to develop our nation all of which he’s not doing, shame on you for misleading us into voting for you. Fail to deliver & l’ll vote u out & u’ll cry like Rupiah Banda. To Hell with your comedy.

Ba Sata should not pretend about load shedding because in his campaigns he called this load shedding as criminal. So bayama ba Sata you now know what lies beyond your fence and we hope you will act not only for plot one but all plots in the country

Zesco needs collosal sums of money for them to expand the electricity generation capacity. However they do not have enough money and thats why they want to increase tarriffs. Even when they get the money, it could take years for them to build new power stations. Demand for electricity continues to increase rapidly and out-strip supply. So many new houses, offices, shops, factories, mines, etc have been and continue to be built whilst zesco infrastructure has not been developed at the same pace. Thus all have to share the little that is available. Hence load shading. Solution is to give zesco more money for recapitalisation.
