2012- A Year To REMEMBER
Fellow Country Men and Women,
This year 2012 has been astronomical both economically and politically in Zambia. The PF came to power and after 90 days
they promised milk and honey. They are still promising more milk and honey as a pro-poor government in power.
President SATA made and unmade appointments and re-shuffles some good others well you could say questionable. The realignment of provinces, creation of districts, arguably to bring development to our people and also give cadres jobs was aimed making the PF increase its hold on power and it is working. The invitation to various chiefs from previously strong holds of the MMD government has both brought the traditional leaders see their new bosses as well as humiliate the former ruling party and its former power base.
The empowerment of street vendors as well as contributing to more money and garbage on the streets of Zambian towns and cities has made the PF more popular with the marketeers albeit a possible cholera outbreak.
The rebasing of Kwacha to bring us in tune with economies in SADC which use coins and cash in the region will make us appear a stable economy that sad to say does not produce finished goods, unless we are talking of Shake Shake and Boom detergent paste.
The plans to overhaul the economy(Agriculture) are drawn from Vice President Guy Scotts tenure in the MMD government when he served as Agricultural minster and subsequently he would like to do what he couldn’t then.
President SATA is surprisingly still interested in UTH and doesn’t talk about other district hospitals. Suffice to that, Kennedy Sakeni should be looking at what and his fellow manganese miners in Luapula are doing about the environmental damage their activities are causing the province.
If we are going to retain the AFCON CUP in 2013 then we must play proper preparatory matches, congratulations to Chris Katongo on winning the BBC Africa Footballer Award for 2012 and condolences to former Zimbabwe international Adam Ndhlovu’s family. To Chishimba Kambwili get a transfer to Ministry of Labour, Fackson’s weak on implementing the minimum wage.
To Given Lubinda, it isn’t your fault that you work with people who fear your graet interllect. You make Zambia proud.
To Nevers Mumba, go back to GOD. To Elias Chipimo keep up the good work. To Edith Nawakwi you are an exceptional woman keeep fighting for Zambia.
To HH swallow your pride and learn to work for Zambia. To Godfrey Miyanda stop keeping quiet we want to know waht you thinking. To former leaders and aspiring leaders sell your manifestos without bad language and bitterness. To the PF government and the rest of Zambia compliments of the season and a prosperous happy New Year 2012.

Yeah, I think you are right. Wynter Kabimba should stop the jealousy he has for against other PF members. He is trying to divert attention from his own issues with ACC. Given Lubinda is a better seasoned politician than Kabimba. Jealousy people do not get far, Mr Kabimba.

General Miyanda is a peculiar politician. He hibernates and only works up when it is election time.
Iam told he is a great believer in miracles. He thinks he will be miraculously be voted president of zambia.

2012 many people in luwingu say it has been boring as they wanted to see much of PF. However the party has been facing many challenges because it was finishing what the previous MMD government left before loosing the much talked about 2011 general election. But next year no more lies. we have exhausted what was left by that government, one can conclude the shortage of mealie meal all over the country.
