Dear Mr. Kabimba
Compliments of the seasons,
We write to you without malice to express our concerned over the style of leadership which you have adopted ever since the party you are the secretary general took over the responsibility of administering the affairs of this nation. We are particularly concerned over the trend of intimidation and harassment of people you consider political opponents. Unless you change your leadership style, things may not be well with you in the New Year because you are bound to meet stiff resistance from not only members of the opposition political parties but the general citizenry not pleased with what is happening in the country.
You may also wish to realize that, there is a general feeling of betrayal among the people of Zambia that feel, the PF government did cheat them during the campaigns. While only a handful of individuals are happy with what is going on in the country, the majority of the people doing genuine business are not pleased with your government’s way of doing things.
For example, people doing genuine business are harassed by the local authority by way of asking them to pay huge tax while a handful of other citizens whose business are making money illegally on the streets at the instruction of your government. Whether we have a law for people to do business illegally while other people are compelled to comply with the directives of the law can only be answered by yourselves.
We are referring this to the culture of streetism which government that has sworn to abide by the rule of law is tolerating. Remember people allowed to do business illegally are the major contributors of many communicable diseases such as cholera we have witnessed in the recent past.
We wish to remind you that, before your party formed government, it used to condemn these things accusing the previous government of not being prudent. Remember, your party was corroborating with us and used to complain about these things and other injustices the former ruling party used to do to the opposition fraternity.
As your former partners in the opposition, we did not expect PF to follow the footsteps of the former ruling party of intimidating political opponents and using under hand methods to solve political problems. Above all, preventing political opponents from exercising their constitutionally given right of freedom of association. The worst party is that you have with impunity abrogated the provision of the current constitution which demand the separation of government from the party. You have gone further to impose your party manifesto as government manual of reference and expect civil servants to begin behaving like they were cadres from the PF. This is not only politically wrong but legally and morally forbidden.
Regrettably, you as a party have gone out of your way to do the very things you condemned when we corroborated as partners in the opposition. You have become a collection of all political vices people detest in the country. We are talking of lies, corruption, intimidation, violence and sponsoring despondent in the opposition among others. Above all, your party is doing everything possible to muzzle the freedom of association which are akin to free speech under our current constitution. The media is not spare to this problem As though this is not enough the confusion which your party has created is now backfiring as manifested in the ongoing infighting in your party.
As ZDDM, we will not just sit idol watching things degenerating into something we shall all regret in the long run. We have made it our resolution to counter any of the maneuvers by yourselves to manipulate the political scene in the country. We wish to reiterate that, all our actions will be done within the ambit of the law as prescribed by our national constitution.
You’re supposed to be partner in national development.
Edwin Sakala

Congats Mr. Sakala, year letter is in good taste nd not out of malice. Keep it up! Let me oso remind Hon. Wynter Kabimba to avoid running to the Press over PF bedroom matters coz its not right. U r no longer a cadre but a Govt official nd show us that u min well by practicing diplomacy nd professionalism. U r a professional who shud not be swayed by emotions. Good luck.

Mr Sakala you do not have focus especially that you have decided as ZDDM to support Mumba whom you and I supported under Reform Party when you know his incapabilities. I am very disappointed with you for still supporting Mumba who can even deny that he has never interacted with John Ziba who actually was his Chairperson for elections in Reform Party! What type of clergy man is your boss, Nevers Mumba? I am very disappointed.
I am advising you to support progressive parties Mr Sakala otherwise you will continue lagging behind.
Believe you me, I cannever support Nervers after knowing his true character.
Compliments of the season!

I think as Human Beings we should be able to think positively and support where support is needed and advise where such is needed. We should not support Kabimba if he is wrong just because we are PF. If we do that we are only spoiling the young man who is currently tooo exited.

He is not excited. He is doing his job. Remeber his job is tough. 20 years of MMD in power left a lot of pipo who were eating with them glued to corruption and hence resisting the rules of the game in PF. If Winter relaxes now, we shall be another MMD in terms of corruption. My Party PF is undergoing transformation to consolidate ouselves us a ruling party. We had different pipo who jumped into the boart for ill reasons. They must be flashed out if they still have other legs in another party.

Kabimba is really excited but days will catch up with him. Is true that his mother is a sister or cousin to someone’s mother and that is why he is harrasing people? He is really feeling he owns Zambia. Not at all dear. Cool down and be sober.

Ken, i wish your party took note of the fact that you are taking over from destruction of 20 years. In which case you were supposed to tell us you will need a little more time than effecting major changes within 90 days. How do you strangle yourselves with such a yardstick like 90 days when you know very well how much destruction was there. U made us over expectant then now you say we are re-organising things! apologise that you didnt know what is involved i advise.

Our country is faced with serious challenges of under-development, poverty , disease and illiteracy. What worsens the situation is the varying degrees to which these vices affect the different parts of the country. Invariably therefore, an impression exists that suggests that certain parts and ethnic groupings in the country are more important than others, and naturally created serious divisions amount various tribes in the country. A national leadership collective with a serious developmental agenda and a deliberate national unification programme is therefore required. For those who wield political and state power such a resolve to transform our country begins at party level. This is why the rumblings currently going on within the PF are seriously worrying for the country. Whether you like it or not, whether you support PF or not, whether you are in opposition on not the goings on in the PF will affect you. It affects you at different service delivery levels. The ruling party’s squabbles will lead to directionlessness in health and education programmes, electricity and water provision, housing and road construction, revenue collection, etc for which eventually, you the ordinary citizen has to heavily pay for. In this light therefore the PF should have a retook at itself in so far as handling their internal differences is concerned so as to restore people’s hopes and confidence in the them to deliver!

Pipo, honesty is honesty. What PF is doing aint what we anticipated. It’s infuriating to say the least and I m sure the 2013 joshua prophesies could be talking about Zambian politicians. On kabimba, it wont be to long b4 his true self is exposed n becomes isolated. Kabimba is a dangerous opportunist who can never be accepted worldwide. PF will b the shortest serving party if Sata doesnt cage that man

Kabimba has no leadership qualities, not even bad ones. Imagine threatening to deal with officials at ERB who informed the nation about the wrongful appointing of 11 board members instead of 7. Anyway we can not be surprised because even H.E. Sata had nominated 10 mps instead of 8. This is the job creation we were promised. The creation of more district means more jobs for PF cadres. Where are we heading to. We are watching. By the way, has winter got the guts to expel Lubinda? Maybe he fears it will boomerang on him. We are watching.
