Kabwata PF Cadres Match to State House Demanding Expulsion Of Given Lubinda from Both the PF Party & Government
Kabwata’s ruling Patriotic Front [PF] cadres this morning matched to State House demanding for the speedy expulsion of Foreign Affairs Minister who is also Kabwata MP, Given Lubinda from both party and government.
The cadres who included youths matched without a police permit were led by Kabwata PF constituency chairman David Silubanji accused the PF leadership of being too slow in expelling Mr. Lubinda who they accuse of being a traitor in the country.
Mr. Silubanji alleged that Mr. Lubinda is not popular in Kabwata constituency except for Mahopo compound where he has been buying Chibuku for cadres.
He insisted that even the people who welcomed Lubinda at the airport were not PF cadres but UPND members as the PF has no history of welcoming ministers.

Hey, I’ll be watching, but this is certainly a story and situation the PF needs to handle very carefully. It will take a lot of convincing for anyone to believe Lubinda woes in the PF have nothing to do with his Surname. The following questions beg honest answers in determining how dangerous a precedence the PF may set if they indeed end up firing Given:
1. How many senior members of PF have not belonged to another party previously & how are these members to relate with their former colleagues in those parties?
2. Is state house a PF or government institution? Why did these so-called cadres not go to the PF secretariat? Has Lubinda been accused of any wrongdoing as a MINISTER?
3. Are these protests to be adopted by the PF as their legitimate way of dealing with cases in the party?
4. Does the PF have formal structures such as The National Executive Committee, Disciplinary Committee, etc that are duly empowered to handle matters such as these allegations against Lubinda? And do they even have a constitution for that matter?

The move taken by youths was wrong since the disciplinary comittee is handling the matter & if found guilty its up to the party to descipline,suspend or expel him from the party after all there is no sacred cow in PF & PF is not Given. Let’s just wait & see.

Sata is at it again. Remember during Chiluba’s third term debates, Sata hounded out all members he thought were a challenge.Right now Sata is aware about the reasons Kabimba wants Lubinda out. One of them is that, he is definitely cleaner than most of the MPslet alone ministers in the PF government. Is it because Sata is abusing his power and he’s scared of prosecution at the end of his term that is, if Lubinda was to take over? There is definitely something cooking that Kabimba is scared of. We are watching as drama starts for the PF.
