PF Central Committee Will Soon Determine Lubinda’s Fate

As calls to have Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda from the ruling Patriotic Front intensify, PF Lusaka Province chairman Geoffrey Chuumbwe says the Central Committee will soon meet to decide the fate of Mr. Lubinda.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm news, Mr. Chuumbwe says the petition by Kabwata Constituency officials has already been submitted to the party secretary general wynter kabimba for further scrutiny.

Mr. Chuumbwe says the Central Committee will soon make a ruling based on the recommendations by the Secretary General.

He has since called on members to remain calm and allow the central committee to have the final say on the matter.

PF Kabwata officials have accused Mr. Lubinda of being disloyal to the party and retarding development among other things.

Yesterday PF cadres from seven constituencies in Lusaka marched to State House demanding the speedy expulsion of Mr. Lubinda but they were blocked by police.

Should the days in fact years of PF be numbered for disciplining one senior official of its party? PF is not lubinda alone & his people have lost confidence in him just as some MMD members have lost confidence in mumba. Let’s just wait & see.

This issue of Lubinda is giving me a headache. Why can’t he simply be expelled? There is no issue of him being disloyal. There are just selfish people like Kabimba & his dogs trying to bring noise into the party. We know what Kabimba is trying to do & is behind all these demonstrations. Should Lubinda be expelled, i’ll definitely go with him. And why is mr president quite? Sort out Kabimba before he messes up the party. LEAVE MR LUBINDA ALONE.

Lubinda can only be a great man if he respects the people that put him in power. Given grew big headed to a point where he ignored the people. I remember he shunned musician Alubusu’s funeral, forgeting that artistes, particularly musicians have a lot of influence in Kabwata. I was going to be suprised if these calls for his removal were not there. And even if he stays on, it will be difficult for him to regain his lost supporters, me being one of them.

Those of you who take time to read these articles before commenting would agree with me.PF Chairperson says the Central Committee will wait for recommendations from Kabimba and then Givens fate will be decided.Honestly does Chumbwe know what he’s talking about.Secondly how do they even allow a bunch of cadres, drunk youths for that matter to march to state house without a police permit to demand for a cabinet minister to be fired.Indeed PF is developing cracks and I wonder if this party will outlive or survive beyond HE MC Sata

This is the lesson to MPs who are not perfoming. The good example is CHIMBAMILONGA AND KAPUTA Constiotuences, the roads in these constituences are extremely bad.e.g. Mporokoso-Nsama Road,Kapinda turnoff-Kashikishi,Mutundu-Nsubu road,Kaputa-Kasongole and many road to mentions just a few.Chimbamilonga constituence has no Secondary school, hospital and Nsama district has no police station;the constituence lack clean drinking water.these gravel roads nets to be tared but the shord term measure requires periodic grading and resurfacing. However, people here are wondering what these MPs are doing with their CDF.Am based at Nsama district,i tell you transporters shan this area because of the bad roads.people spend two to three days wainting for transport to Kasama or kaputa. As voters we are worried, because other MPs like chinsali MP are using CDF constructively but one wonders what our MPs are doing. These are the same people who are making government to look like it is not working. As we enter 2013 i appeal to ll MPS TO VISIT THEIR CONSTITUENCIES AND WORK ON THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE.Otherwise remember that people are watching……

Whatever has become of PF? It makes me wonder the politics of intimidation being practiced by Winter. Wherever he points, thats where those good for nothing cadres go… First it was GBM, now its Lubinda and we do not know whos next on the list, that his accusing finger will target…

Those cadres from Kanyama, Mandevu, Chawama, Matero, who are they to define the kind of MP and the development people in Kabwata should demand from Lubinda? Are their MPs any hollier than Lubinda? Or are their places any better than Kabwata? Wait until Winter points his accusing finger on Gerry Chanda, Jean Kapata, Edgar Lungu or Miles Sampa. They will then see that their MPs were not actually as good ass thought they were…

For now, I wait to see Winter’s next target… If his ambition is to get rid of all potential contenders for Presidency, he should take a leaf from his boss (Sata). Chiluba picked on Mwanawasa after Sata expelled all the big-brains MMD had and thought he was the only one left…

Well, the problem with Lubinda is that he doesn’t listern to people in Kabwata.I was also dissapoited after these rangles in PF.But after asking kabwata people i discovered Lubinda that is no loger liked by people.1.He has taken back money meant for development in kabwata that everything is fine in the area.2.People are annoyed with him for not tarring Zipas Road and Brake point which goes to Chamwama. The roads are impassable. When it runs Kamwala south is no go area.Among the constuencies Kabwata is laging behind.Kamwala south is bad indeed. The roads are not graded.MMD did something in Kabwata not PF under Lubinda. This is PF members are worried that PF may loose popularity in Lsk.They want to remove MPs who are not perfoming and Lubinda is doing nothing. Please people ask Kabwata people for more information before we support him blindly.

1.From your statement, it is evident that you do not stay in Kabwata, therefore you may not be the authority to comment on Kabwata.

2.Some of those areas you have mentioned, where the roads are in a state of disrepair have not been legalised.
