Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) communications officer Erick Mwanza said Mulenga arrived in Johannesburg on Saturday evening.
Mulenga’s arrival brings to 25 players in camp ahead of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off on January 19.
The Netherlands-based striker is expected to return to the Africa Cup for the first time since the 2010 tournament in Angola.
Mulenga missed the 2012 tournament due to an injury he sustained in November 2011 that saw him out of action well into July of last year.
He arrives in time for Zambia’s last three friendly games against Morocco, Norway and Namibia on January 8, 12 and 15 respectively.
Meanwhile, Southampton striker Emmanuel Mayuka will be the last player expected to arrive in camp on Monday to complete Herve Renard’s 26-man provisional squad

Renard should be able to read the game in the first 30 minutes if we are to beat nigeria.
