I hope you will post this so that I will get help from your readers.
Recently my friend was found to be HIV positive . He was very sick at the point of being unconscious. The Doctor asked me if he could do the test of which I agreed. It came out P+ and suggested that I buy Meal In A Glass (medicine). I did that and he recovered very quickly.
He is not yet on drug (ARV).
How do I tell him since looking at his lifestyle, it is questionable.
Please help me save my friend.

U are not the dr to tell him that .encourage him to redo the test alone to prove .their are trained counselors and medical personel to do that .

It becomes difficulty if he has been leading a faithful life. But if not,ask him why he has not been responsive to any medication. It is possible he will look into his passed life and possible he will say maybe am HIV.From that point then encourage him to take a test and ask him who he will tell if he discovers he is positive.
From there you can sight many people who are living positively and emphasise that it is not a death sentence.

Trained counsellors can help but how to convince him to see a counsellor is the issue to consider. In your country, what are the implications of testing someone for HIV without their knowledge? Did you sign a consent form for that?

Encourage him to go back to the doctor for medical review, and the doctor will have a private discussion with him.

The Doctors should have found a way of letting him know after he gained consciousness.
