EFZ Condemns Nkomeshya’s Political Statement

chieftainess nkomeshyaThe Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia-EFZ-has described as unfortunate the political statement that Senior Chieftainess Nkhomeshya II of the Soli people made during the flagging off of the construction of the ninety one kilometer stretch of Luangwa Bridge Feira road project by President Michael Sata.

Senior Chieftains Nkhomeshya who is also House Chiefs Chairperson was also quoted as saying that she will defend her statement that President Sata’s government is delivering its campaign promises if some people would want to describe it as politics.

EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza has noted that the Senior Chieftainess’ statement does not reflect fairly as there are some people in her chiefdom that have divergent political views.

Rev. Mwanza has noted that traditional leaders in the country ought to harmonize divergent political views amongst people and live above partisan politics.

Rev Pukuta Mwanza has also become irrelevant with un due criticism. The man must be bitter and frustrated. May be he wanted a political appointment some where and he sees it not coming.
Even him when he receives a visitor it is only human to say the positives of that person.
What did he expect the chief to say?
The problem with EFZ is that they had supported MMD and that why in every thing they cry foul.
I am non partisan not even a PF cadre and only looks at issues objectively.

There is nothing wrong with what chieftainess Nkomeshya said. If there is development taking place what is wrong with her making a positive statement. The church has been so quiet and that is the more reason politicians behave the way they behave. Let us learn to give praise were it is due. Brother mwanza, give positive criticism. Unless the chieftainess was just lying, then your criticism is alright but if not then brother check the intentions of your criticism

Ba Mwanza we welcome your statement nd its positive but the problem is that you are one sided and that will make people undermine the church I stand to be corrected, where was EFZ when Dora raised her middle finger in the August house, where was EFZ when the 3 stooges went and held a press conference on foreign soil undermining our sovereignity, where was EFZ when Rupiah’s lawyer called Zambians useful idiots for claiming for removal of his clients immunity……the list goes on and on and on and on

Nkomeshya was threatened with dethrone by MMD and she’s found solace in PF. Where was Pukuta and EFZ when her chieftainess was under threat?

THE THINK TANK OF ZAMBIA- Mwanza wanted a job with GRZ. Cant a chief show appreciation where its due? I cant see any politics in the Chieftains statement. Pukuta must wait for 2016.

A critique is a balanced comment on a subject and is harmless to an enlighted person. Pukuta was merely giving a critique using his acquired formal education. Let us be accommodative.
