Kabole Fired At Don Bosco

Lubumbashi outfit Don Bosco has sacked veteran Zambian coach Fordson Kabole after a below par performance at the club.

Kabole, who joined Don Bosco after leaving Power Dynamos in early 2012, failed to meet the aspirations of the club that represented the Democratic Republic of Congo in the Confederations Cup.

Sources in Lubumbashi disclosed that Kabole was relieved of his duties following a poor run.

Kabole’s side was eliminated from the CAF Confederations Cup after losing 1-0 at home to South African outfit SuperSport United.

The team managed a draw away but it was not enough to make them progress in the competition.

Don Bosco is a TP Mazembe sister club where a legion of Zambian players such as Francis Kasonde, Luka Lungu and Oswald Kalamba are stationed.

Katanga governor Moise Katumbi’s son is in charge of the management of Don Bosco.
