Chief Mpezeni ‘Unveils’ New Wife

PARAMOUNT Chief Mpezeni of the Ngoni people of Eastern Province on Sunday introduced his new wife to a church gathering.
This was during the Easter Mass at St Gabriel sub- Parish in Feni.
Mpezeni’s move to introduce his wife, Esther Mbewe, excited the congregants.
His first wife died in 2009.
And chief Mpezeni said he would ask for resources from President Michael Sata for the construction of a church at St Gabriel sub-Parish in Feni.
Chief Mpezeni who attended the Mass with energy permanent George Zulu, who is also a member of the royal family, said he felt obliged to contribute towards the construction of the church.
According to Zulu, chief Mpezeni’s move to pledge to assist in the construction of the church was a sign that he had gone back to the Catholic Church.
He said the chief promised to do his best in sourcing for funds to go towards the construction of a new church.
And Zulu urged people to reflect on their lives during Easter.
He said the message of a new beginning should sink in people’s hearts.
Zulu also pledged to remain Catholic for the rest of his life.
Meanwhile, Caritas Chipata director Fr Vincent Daka says the real Easter renewal has eluded the nation for many years because of hypocrisy, greed and selfishness.
Fr Daka urged people to believe in Easter renewal.
“Easter has been celebrated, honoured and passed on from one generation to another in Zambia for over 100 years. Essentially this great feast has now become part of culture. At every Easter we celebrate redemption and renewal even in the midst of various challenges facing our people today. One does not necessarily need to be a Christian to realise that the Easter message of sacrifice, redemption and hope can deliver progress for all,” he said in an Easter message over the weekend.
Fr Daka hoped to see increased progress towards greater realisation of human rights and capabilities.
“Renewal must come, either through government refocusing on its agenda and greater commitment of all its citizens. At every Easter, we hope to see increased progress towards greater realisation of human rights and capabilities. Challenges will remain, but hope must prevail and there will be no progress without sacrifice. This Easter we must seek to endeavour to eradicate poverty and persecution and foster our budding democracy. Believe in Easter renewal,” he said.

What! escuse me! is it a question of Prestige,Tradition or lust?. I ernestly think its the latter. He should know by now having a lot of wives is a waste of time. He should devote his time in developmental issues. Another woman!!, in my oppinion means he is still struggling with himself!

Stop asking Sata for resources to construct this or that. You are driving him into corruption because he has to source money for you from the tax payers’ resources. You church goers should come together and help yourselves construct the church. The Jehovah’s witnesses always do that.
