Gay Rights Acitivist Remains In Jail
A day after a gay rights activist was arrested at Muvi Television Studios, Acting President, Edgar Lungu, has refused to give more details about gay rights.
Mr. Lungu has however stated that police must be left to handle such cases since government has already stated its position on the matter.
Zambia Police last night arrested a gay rights activist, Paul Kasonkomona, shortly after featuring on MUVI TV’s Assignment programme

Shame on you Zambia – we are now a laughing stock internationally – curtailing freedom of expression and assembly. BIG shame on you Edgar Lungu – you should never leave this country in the hands of this alcoholic. He jails someone for defending human rights, and yet he commits sin himself – being an alcoholic.
