CBU’s Computer Science Dept Gutted By Fire

The Copperbelt University’s department of Computer Science was last night Sunday gutted by fire with the extent of how much data lost as huge.
The amount of damage caused by the inferno has not yet been established but the negative impact left by the inferno is huge.Below are pictures captured after the destruction by fire;

    Looks to me like a tavern or something, is this the country’s second largest university’s computer science department?, no wonder it caught fire.

    This looks like arson,i smell a rat,anyway its understable especially if your opinions mean nothing.Every human being reaches a breaking point and desperate situations call for desperate measures.Im sure its sabotage!

    I think it is the squatters were chased from the hostels who started the fire.

    This is clearly sabotage!!a Sunday and at night?- shame, thinking positively? its the best time for the University to build a state of the art computer department with a fire extinguishing system and a disaster recovery procedure in place!!lets do away with too much paper!!!My condolences to Mufu and the team
