With Week Six fixtures taking place this weekend in the MTN/FAZ league national team selectors have yet to give an indication on what will take precedence on the possible clash of players picked for the Zimbabwe clash and the league over the weekend.
Some clubs could lose as much as five players to national duty depleting them for the weekend matches.
SuperSport will stage two double header clashes over the weekend with Arthur Davies and Trade Fair hosting the other on Sunday.
Under the SuperSport deal clubs are obliged to field their full strength squads.
National team assistant coach Honour Janza offered a halfhearted explanation at the quandary facing FAZ ahead of Sunday’s clash against Zimbabwe.
“People should not be worried about what will happen, because those are manageable things, they will be managed well,” said Janza.
“Unless you were talking about too many players that are going to the national team but the team that will play the Zimbabwe game has not been announced so which teams will be affected.”
He added: “So everybody should be ready to play the league and those that have been affected according to the constitution if they have five or more players they will write to FAZ accordingly so no one should be worried they should just prepare themselves in a normal way.”
