LIME Hotspur will advertise the vacant coaching job at the struggling club after a head-hunt to bring veteran Fordson Kabole to Ndola drew a blank.
The club targeted Kabole to replace Matthews Njobvu who was shown the exit a fortnight ago after only three matches following a string of poor results.
In a sudden turn of events, Njobvu was called back but demoted to assistant coach.
Club secretary Brown Phiri said in Ndola yesterday that the club has failed to make contact with Kabole, who was reported to have gone to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to finalise his exit terms at Don Bosco.
Kabole was approached but no deal was finalised.
“We have not been in touch with him (Kabole)…so we are advertising the position,” he said.
Lime also made contact with Wesley Mondo but the coach’s demand put off the would-be employers.
On Sunday, Lime lost 3-0 to Nkana in an MTN Super Division Week Five match.
