OUTSPOKEN Catholic Priest Father Frank Bwalya says his life is in danger because of speaking the truth.
Father Bwalya has told Qfm in an exclusive interview that his life has always been in danger, but his joining of the political arena and speaking the truth has even worsened the situation.
He says it is sad that he has to find means of securing his life because of people who don’t like to hear the truth.
Father Bwalya however states that Zambians are aware that he has not committed any offence; hence he will continue what he has started.
He adds he is merely exercising his democratic rights in everything he is doing, and has vowed to remain focused on realizing his dreams.
Father Bwalya has also reminded people who openly want to join him to be mindful that they are putting their lives in danger.

we as ordinary zambians i guess we r nt Man or Women enough to appreciate wat democracy is! Prompting pastors or fathers/Ex-fathers to speak a voice not only on behalf of you already benefiting from wat falls from richmans’ table bt to us the regardless. If america can even speak human rights fo pipo in foreign lands y nt us in our home lands. If zambia is carrying husbands name democracy we ought to appreciate de meaning of it otherwise changing name tag would be ideal.

Fatherless Frank Bwalya u are nw gripped with fear because u have run away from God. Not even Gods name is mentioned in all that u say these days. u are clouded with fear and politics. U have even forgotten about the scriptures which talk about protection. eg u are prtected by the blood of Jesus, if God is for us who can be against us. Continue with politics and u will continue living in fear. Coward.

Who wants to kill you. If you know them report them to the police. It is too early to start talking of people trying to kill you. This is just a gimmick to draw more attention. Speak the truth, people will listen and they will follow you. If you start talking of being threatened to be killed, no one will risk to joint you because they will also have fear to get killed. Uwingila mumushitu tomfwanswaswa. Just go ahead if what you are doing is right.

Father Bwalya you are not new to the political scenario in Zambia.
I would imagine that security would be a major consideration, even before you announced your candidature. A well constructed plan of operation would not overlook security.
If you have only now realized this, what else have you neglected to take care of?
Or is this a way to gain sympathy and at the same time demonise the other parties?
By the way, we are still to see your party’s manifesto.
