Arséholés like “Evangelist” Gideon Mulenga are misleading people. Accidents happen everyday all ovver th world not because of the devil but circumstances.. eg.. drunk driving, reckless drivers, and many other factors. cikala Gideon is just looking for blind people to squeeze money out of their pockets.

Belief in God and not Sutanism. The head of state should call a National Day of prayers targeting at reducing RTAs esp. Great North Road, other we will all finish on this road

    1. How often do you maintain road surfaces?
    2. How often do you re-test your PSV drivers and vehicles?
    3. How often do you review and expand your road’s carrying capacity? Every 50 years?

Avoiding accidents takes more just comments – Roads and bridges need to be redesigned from what Cecil Rhodes made for his Bedfords. We now have interlink trucks and high speed buses. Otherwise you will keep dying and blaming on Satanists – Satana ali busy drinking maheu in hell and u keep talking about him.

If a striker fells to score you cannot get sports minister expecting he ll make it. accidents happening to help in this problem involve a Driver who is a top striker. putting a lot of Traffic Policeman on our roads en RTSA leaving a Driver alone esh may not help. For us to score a Driver shud not be left. even if Driver shud be tested 6 months. One question Wat are the major courses o this accidents? then solution. U can not solve without understanding a question.

No. read the comment by Wanyafye FC 1 Sonyeko 2.

Put satanism aside and consider his excellent comment. Just for 1 second, see if it makes better sense. In fact here’s the comment below:

      1. How often do you maintain road surfaces?
      2. How often do you re-test your PSV drivers and vehicles?
      3. How often do you review and expand your road’s carrying capacity? Every 50 years?

accidents are not about how well trained the driver is. It’s like in a kitchen. A person who always cuts relish would at one point lose concentration but escape a cut or be cut cause it so happened they were not lucky. even the best trained driver can err.

I was pleased there was no mention of “sacrifice”…till I got to the end of the story..and there it was.

When will you civilize yourselves Tumfweko? Your readers are talking practicalities that cause these accidents.

Yet you still insist on insulting their intelligence.

We should also not forget that we have been importing these second hand cars which have been condemned in their country of origin but here in zambia we consider them to be new. Some of these accidents are mechanical problems not the drivers. These second hand cars need proper fitness to be allowed on our rough zambian roads. Officers at RTSA do casual checking and certify the car fit. There is need to do more.

It’s bad driving+bad roads period. A vehicle is driven by a PERSON..not Satan. I think we are blaming Satana for too many things which are plain stupidity, human error and lack of common road sense. Its great to be a Christian Nation but for God’s sake practice what you preach. Yaba!

I wonder if there are statistics out there which show how many accidents have been happening in Zambia each year in the last 20 years as a percentage of vehicles in the country and if those numbers have changed with changes in Government/leadership. The influx of reconditions vehicles, more people driving, Driver qualification regime, inexperienced drivers, state of the roads, e and many others changes highlighted by others in their comments surely should impact adversely on the number of accidents. How many of us have had funerals of neighbours and relatives who have died in accidents and never reported in the media over the many many years, people now have more access to information than ever before therefore we hear more of these incidents more quickly? No doubt Prayer is powerful and always helps but let us focus on the root causes of these terrible incidents in a sober mature manner to solve the problems.

Well said Mark3. The whole thing about roads and road users need serious rethinkin. Is it normal for me to wait for another vehicle to cross Kalomo bridge on Kalomo/Lstone Highway? How many people die and how much property is lost every week at a place called DALLAS between Mazabuka and Kafue? Do u need Clive Chirwa to say EXPAND THE ROAD, YOU CHAP?

Well put! Statistical evaluation of what you’ve mentioned is very very important. They merely say do more you police but lack specifics. for example you would need to know: has the ratio vehicle-to-accident ration increased or reduced?
To solve the accidents riddle you need to do such a statistical study and pinpoint were to concentrate efforts on
