Chipolopolo first choice goalie Kennedy Mweene says Zambia is firmly focused on reaping maximum points against Sudan on Saturday in a Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier in Ndola.

Mweene who is eligible for selection after saving his suspension said his protege Danny Munayo put up an impressive display adding up to the competition among goalkeepers.

“Sudan is a good side we do not have to look at how they have been playing in the last few games. We have to look at them as a collective,” he said.

“It is not the first time we are playing them. For us we have to work hard and focus on collecting maximum points.”

He added: “But for me I am just really happy that the suspension is finished and I am available for selection that is the most important thing.”

Mweene declined to comment on his reported move to Mamelodi Sundowns in the ABSA premiership.

“For me I cannot comment because I am in camp at the moment with the national team I have to concentrate,” he said.

Meanwhile, the team got back to quietly work at their fortress at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium as they plot to bring Sudan down on Saturday to maintain their position at the summit of Group D.

Zambia lead Group D on 10 points with Ghana lying second.Lesotho are third on two points while bottom placed Sudan has one point.

Foolish unpatriotic Zambian, How do you wish Mweene to concede 2 goals? Immigration Officers search for this foreigner and deport him immediately. GO GO CHIPOLOPOLO BOYS AND SLAUGHTER SUDAN WITHOUT MERCY. We ‘ re behind you

I wonder why all my comments on the eligibility of this man are not being published. Was the suspension for 1 game or 2?
