Deadly Duo, Jacob & Mbesuma, Rested On Tuesday

Herve Renard rested his deadly pair of Jacob Mulenga and Collins Mbesuma for the Tuesday afternoon training session as he continued toying around with his arsenals as Zambia builds for Saturday’s Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan.

The twin towers were joined on the bench by goal minder Kennedy Mweene in session that had recovering Stoppilla Sunzu join in a full contact session leaving everyone guessing whether Renard was preparing a surprise for the Chipolopolo faithful.

Sunzu who recently underwent knee surgery has been on the mend and has had until Monday morning been on an individual programme.

With Mulenga and Mbesuma rested the fall back strike quartet of James Chamanga, Emmanuel Mayuka, Alex Ng’onga and Bonwell Mwape had their time in the fox’s set up as the team warms up to Saturday’s clash.

The 4-0 win over Lesotho has hyped up the atmosphere with fans expected to troop to the stadium enmasse.

They deserve it. Renard shud use the right combination of players. The mid field shud have creative players. We need more goals.

We need Mbesuma the whole 90 mins, we want early goals no panicking after half time,
@ kakitu yo sugestion of bringing in Mbesuma as a super sub can not be supported am sorry an thank God u r not the coach, as for Mayuka, I prefer Bornwell Mwape atleast he plays regularly for his club.

My ernest appeal to the national team players and the coach can we change over crossing of balls into the 18yard box we easily lose ball short passes are good for us especially for players like Mbesuma he is good on that dnt strain him on running lng dista
