Private station Muvi TV and national broadcaster ZNBC have partnered in airing the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2014 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
According to a statement released by Muvi TV general manager Costa Mwansa, “ There will be a signing ceremony between Muvi TV and ZNBC for the joint airing of the Confederation and World Cup.”
That occasion is set for today, “The signing ceremony will lead to a partnership between the two stations in airing the two major soccer events. This important event will take place on Thursday 13, June 2013.”
The ceremony will be hosted at the MUVI TV boardroom at Levy Junction at 10:00 in Lusaka. The Confederations Cup, the precursor to the World Cup, kicks off on Saturday with hosts and defending champions Brazil playing Japan in a 16:00 hours (23:00 hours Zambian time) kick off.
World and European champions Spain will play Uruguay on Saturday in the second match on Day One of the Confederations Cup at 19:00 hours (02:00 a.m Zambian time).

Muvi Tv has better equipment but ZNBC doesn’t want to accept the fact.Can the Government look into this problem at ZNBC

This is good news to serious soccer fans.Some of us that follow the beautiful game will be in our living rooms to watch the games irrespective of the time they will be shown.
By the way I hope ZNBC will later in the year cotton on to their promise.Earlier, following their failure to broadcast UEFA champions league they promised to correct and deliver this coming season.
